Ultrasoft magnetorheological elastomers (MREs) offer convenient real-time magnetic field control of mechanical properties that provides a means to mimic mechanical cues and regulators of cells . Here, we systematically investigate the effect of polymer stiffness on magnetization reversal of MREs using a combination of magnetometry measurements and computational modeling. Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease is a rare X-linked leukodystrophy accompanied by central nervous system hypomyelination with a spectrum of clinical phenotypes. This is the first survey of caregivers of individuals with Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease to investigate the presenting symptoms, path to diagnosis, identity and impact of most bothersome symptoms, and needs that future treatment should address. Cytarabine arabinoside (Ara-C) has been the cornerstone of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) chemotherapy for decades. Introduction: Post-traumatic stress disorder occurs in parents of infants with CHD, contributing to psychological distress with detrimental effects on family functioning and well-being. We sought to determine the prevalence and factors associated with post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms in parents whose infants underwent staged palliation for single ventricle heart disease.
