Objective: There is a shortage of established prognostic biomarkers in bladder cancer. One candidate is tumour protein 63 (p63), a transcription factor of the p53 gene family that is expressed in the normal urothelium. Recently proposed RNA expression-based molecular classifiers of bladder cancer identified high p63 expression as a component of a basal/squamous subtype linked to poor patient prognosis.

Importance: The formation of adhesions after gynecological surgery not only has detrimental impacts on those affected, including pain, obstruction, and infertility, but also imposes a high economic burden on healthcare systems worldwide.
Objective: The aim of this review was to evaluate the adhesion prevention potential of all currently available adhesion barriers for gynecological surgery.
Evidence Acquisition: We systematically searched MEDLINE and CENTRAL databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the use of adhesion barriers as compared with peritoneal irrigation or no treatment in gynecological surgery.
Objectives: Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is a cell surface glycoprotein that represents a promising therapeutic target. Serum measurement of shedded CEA can be utilized for monitoring of cancer patients.
Material And Methods: To evaluate the potential clinical significance of CEA expression in urothelial bladder neoplasms, CEA was analysed by immunohistochemistry in more than 2500 urothelial bladder carcinomas in a tissue microarray format.

Introduction: Transcranial high-resolution ultrasonography reliably allows diagnosis and monitoring of intracerebral hemorrhage in adults. Sonographic monitoring of subdural hematoma (SDH) has not been evaluated in adults so far. This study investigates the reliability of transcranial gray-scale sonography (TGS) in monitoring acute and chronic SDH in adults.

The group of postpubertal testicular germ cell tumours encompasses lesions with highly diverse differentiation - seminomas, embryonal carcinomas, yolk sac tumours, teratomas and choriocarcinomas. Heterogeneous differentiation is often present within individual tumours and the correct identification of the components is of clinical relevance. HMGA2 re-expression has been reported in many tumours, including testicular germ cell tumours.
