To address this challenge, we first utilized multi-omics data from 87 well phenotyped AD patients and generated plasma proteomics and metabolomics data, as well as gut and saliva metagenomics data to investigate the molecular-level alterations accounting the host-microbiome interactions.

Is COVID-19 loss more associated with prolonged grief disorder than other losses?

The COVID-19 pandemic raised fears about a rise in prolonged grief rates. To determine if these fears are justified, we examined an online sample of 329 Turkish adults for their level of prolonged grief symptoms (as well as probable Prolonged Grief Disorder-PGD) and associated factors in relation to losses during the pandemic. Respondents completed measures of prolonged grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression.

Herein, a conjugated conducting polymer-based impedimetric aptasensor has been developed to detect beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (bHCG), the one of the important biomarkers in gynecology, from synthetic human urine samples. In this context, gold electrodes were, firstly coated with pyrrole and pyrrole-3-carboxylic acid to obtain the poly(pyrrole-pyrrole-3-carboxylic acid) [poly(Py-PyCOOH)] conductive copolymer by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Methods: A total of 170 participants, including professional firefighters, search and rescue (SAR) workers, and volunteers, were surveyed approximately 1 month after the conclusion of active SAR operations. The study utilizes the DSM-V criteria and the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist (PCL-5) to assess symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among participants.

The role of blood nitric oxide level in predicting return of spontaneous circulation: a prospective case-control study.
