Background: Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been recognized as the main modulatory molecules in various cancers and perform as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs). The nuclear hormone receptor superfamily of ligand-activated transcription factors (NR3C1) regulates numerous proliferative and metabolic processes such as tumorigenesis and metabolic diseases. Furthermore, X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP) belongs to a family of the inhibitors of apoptosis proteins, is located downstream of the glucocorticoid receptor (GR or NR3C1) pathway, and cooperates with GR to suppress apoptosis.

Background: Given the possible effect of maternal anxiety on the severity of colic pain in infants, this study aimed to investigate the effects of behavioral therapy counseling on infantile colic (primary outcome), maternal anxiety, and mother-infant attachment (secondary outcomes) in anxious mothers with colicky infants.

Method: This randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on 46 anxious mothers of 2-6-weeks-old exclusively breastfed colicky infants who had a score of 112 and above according to the Postpartum Specific Anxiety Scale (PSAS), reffered to the pediatric clinics of Al-Zahra, Taleghani and Children Hospitals of Tabriz, Iran. The participants were randomly assigned to the intervention (n = 23) and control (n = 23) groups using randomized block design.

There is a lack of evidence and consensus in terms of the association between dietary intake of sodium (Na) and potassium (K) with mental health. By using 24-hours urinary samples as the gold standard method, we conducted a study to explore the association between dietary intake of Na and K with parameters of mental health including depression, anxiety, and stress among an Iranian population diagnosed with migraine. In the present study, 262 subjects (20-50 years old), with a confirmed diagnosis of migraine were enrolled.

Background: Advanced age is associated with a decline in the natural oocytes, low oocyte yield, and also increases the assisted reproductive technology (ART) failure rate, and consequently resulted in a pregnancy rate decrease. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is one of the proposed therapeutic strategies for women with poor ovarian response (POR). Because of the autologous source of PRP, the lowest risks of disease transmission, immunogenic and allergic reactions have been expected.

Background: Coronal shift is one of the most critical complications related to distal radius fracture (DRF), leading to instability in the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ). Nevertheless, there is no unified approach for the managing DRF with coronal shift; therefore, the current study aims to compare the surgical versus conservative approach for the coronal shift due to DRF treatment.

Methods: This is a randomized clinical trial conducted on 50 patients with distal radius fracture (type 1 based on Fernandez Classification of Distal Radius Fractures) with a coronal shift in 2014-17.
