Background: Cancer development is aided by the role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) that act as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) absorbing microRNAs (miRNAs). We aimed to discover a novel regulatory axis in colorectal cancer (CRC) and potential biomarkers based on miR-616-3p.
Materials And Methods: The gene expression omnibus database was mined for differentially expressed lncRNAs (DELs) and mRNAs.

Despite the benefits of spinal anesthesia and the preference of anesthesiologists for this technique, it is less accepted by urologists due to the proximity of the stone place in the ureter and the possibility of pain, restlessness, and occasional movements of the patient during surgery. The current study investigated the success of bupivacaine plus intrathecal fentanyl in patients undergoing transurethral lithotripsy (TUL). In this randomized clinical trial, from April 2021 to September 2021, 54 patients with proximal urolithiasis candidates for TUL were enrolled.

Aims: There is a paucity of evidence regarding the benefit of royal jelly (RJ) on post-stroke complications in patients with ischemic stroke. To address this knowledge gap, this randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial was carried out to determine the effects of RJ consumption on post-stroke clinical outcomes.
Methods: Of 64 eligible ischemic stroke patients (45-80 years), 32 were randomized to the RJ and 32 to the placebo groups and completed a 12-week intervention.

Reproductive biomarkers are important regulators in women, especially during pregnancy and childbirth. Because of their essential role in women's health, the discovery and quantification of reproductive biomarkers is of great clinical importance. Nowadays, there are many detection strategies to detect these biomarkers, including VEGF, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), etc.

Introduction: The reciprocation between systemic inflammatory markers (SIMs), dyslipidemia, and hot flashes (HFs) can play a part in the pathogenesis of endothelial dysfunction through menopause. This study intended to determine the association between some SIMs, lipids, and HFs in healthy menopausal women.
Materials And Methods: We designed a cross-sectional study in which 160 healthy menopausal women aged 40-60 were enrolled.

Objective: Hypertensive disorders during pregnancy are a significant cause of maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity worldwide. White coat hypertension (WCH) is a hypertensive disease characterized by an increased clinic blood pressure but normal home or workplace blood pressure. Due to variable prevalence, a subset of women with WCH may be incorrectly diagnosed with chronic hypertension, highlighting the need for accurate diagnosis.

Background And Aims: Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a potentially life-threatening emergency. We investigate the predictive value of serum βHCG level and it's changes from the baseline to the 4th and 7th days after single dose (SD) methotrexate (MTX) treatment in successful treatment of tubal EP. It is important for early diagnosis of EP.

To date more than 1000 different variants in the PAH gene have been identified in patients with phenylketonuria (PKU). In Iran, several studies have been performed to investigate the genetics bases of the PKU in different parts of the country. In this study, we have analysed and present an update of the mutational landscape of the PAH gene as well as the population genetics and frequencies of detected variants for each cohort.
