The study of the process of angiogenesis and microcirculation with the help of modern methods of morphological research including type and maturity of the tumor, location and is considered a problem of special importance and value. The purpose of this research is to study the particularity of angiogenesis and microcirculation in colon adenocarcinomas. The human tissue samples of colon adenocarcinoma (19 cases, 40 observation sites) were studied by light microscopic, electron- microscopic, electron-radiographic and immunohistochemical methods.

Background: Physicians working in critical and intensive care settings encounter death of chronic incurable patients on a daily basis; however they have scant skills on how to communicate with the patients and their family members. The aim of the present survey is to examine communication of critical and intensive care physicians with patients' family members receiving treatment due to chronic incurable diseases/conditions and to compare the views of families with physicians working in critical and intensive care settings.

Methods: The survey was conducted in four cities of Georgia (Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Telavi) in 2014.

Authors conducted the analysis of multiple data concerning the possible role of Helicobacters in pathogenesis of different hepato-biliary disorders in clinical as well as in experimental settings. Two pathways of Helicobacters penetration into hepato-biliary system - "translocation" and "ascending way" - are discussed. Selection of "control group" in both - clinical and experimental studies - is identified as one of crucial problems.

The phenomenon of longevity as a kind of model of "physiological" aging has been the main research subject of the Department of Gerontology Institute of Morphology (Georgia) since 1970. The researches were conducted under the Multiplan complex program "Bio-anthropological and social and ethnic investigation of nations and ethnic groups with high index of longevity" in the "long-liver" populations of Georgia. The research aimed at studying the changes in the content of the sex steroids and gonadotrophic hormones in the blood plasma of the healthy men aged from 45 to 90 and more years and residing in Georgia.
