This study aimed to explain the decision-making mediator for organ donation in families with brain-dead patients in a cultural context.
Materials And Methods: This qualitative study with a critical ethnographic approach was conducted based on Carspecken's stages from August 2021 to March 2022.

External iliac agenesis is an uncommon congenital issue characterized by the absence or incomplete development of the external iliac artery, a significant blood vessel supplying the lower limbs, potentially causing symptoms like pain, weakness, ischemia, and numbness. We are currently discussing a case of a 23-year-old woman who complained of pain in her left lower limb. A thorough work-up was conducted to rule out ischemia, and during the diagnostic process, a CT scan revealed the complete absence of the right external iliac artery.

Background: The Persian language, also known as Farsi, is a pluricentric language spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan by about 140 million people. This study aims to translate the Harris hip score (HHS) into Persian with cross-cultural adaptation and to evaluate its validity and reliability.
Methods: One hundred fifty-six total hip arthroplasty patients completed the Persian version of the HHS, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index, Forgotten Joint Score, and visual analog scale (VAS) for pain and satisfaction postoperatively.

Benign pneumoperitoneum can happen after colonoscopy, which shows itself as free air in the abdomen without symptoms or pneumoperitoneum without peritonitis. In this case, we reported a rare case of an elderly man who had acute abdominal stiffness after colonoscopy and observation of free air under the diaphragm that no perforation was observed in the intestine during laparoscopy and only one tiny intestinal tumor was randomly reported. There is no consensus on the treatment of pneumoperitoneum after colonoscopy.

Background: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is associated with tremendous postoperative pain, and pain relief should concisely be considered. This study aims to compare the efficacy of preemptive periarticular multimodal drug injection versus placebo and oral celecoxib on postoperative pain control after TKA.
Materials And Methods: This study is a randomized clinical trial on 146 patients candidate for TKA who were randomly allocated to three treatment groups, including (1) a cocktail consisting of bupivacaine, morphine, epinephrine, and ketorolac ( = 48), (2) only epinephrine (placebo group) ( = 49), and (3) 400 mg celecoxib orally (control group) ( = 49) using the Random Allocation software.
