Nanoliposomes (NLs) are ideal carriers for delivering complex molecules and phytochemical products, but ginger by-products, despite their therapeutic benefits, have poor bioavailability due to their low water solubility and stability. Crude ginger extracts (CGEs) and 6-gingerol were individually encapsulated within NLs for in vitro activity assessment. In vitro evaluation of anti-proliferative and anti-inflammatory properties of encapsulated 6-gingerol and CGE was performed on healthy human periodontal ligament (PDL) fibroblasts and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells.

In this investigation, the chemical composition of the hydro-distilled essential oil (HD-EO), obtained from the fresh aerial parts (inflorescence heads (Inf), leaves (L), and stems (St)) of growing wild in Jordan was determined by GC/MS. Additionally, the methanolic extract obtained from the whole aerial parts of (CCM) was examined for its total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoids content (TFC), DPPH radical scavenging activity, iron chelating activity and was then analyzed with LC-MS/MS for the presence of certain selected phenolic compounds and flavonoids. The GC/MS analysis of CCHD-EOs obtained from the different aerial parts revealed the presence of (2, 8)-matricaria ester as the main component, amounting to 15.

Green nanotechnology is one of the most expanding fields that provides numerous novel nanoparticle drug formulations with enhanced bioactivity performance. This study aims to synthesize mesoporous metal organic framework (ZIF-8) phytofabricated with the herb Allium sativum (As) as an indicator system for its antibacterial and antifungal impact. The successful synthesis of ZIF-8 as nanocomposite was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and scanning coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (SEM-EDX and TEM) that showed the textural retainment of ZIF-8 on composite formation with A.
