For effective deprescribing regular evaluation of medication adjustment regimens is required as it is documented to be an effective method to reduce polypharmacy and potentially inappropriate medications while improving patient well-being. Several factors, including patient-related aspects, influence the deprescribing process.

RO and ChRCC are kidney tumours with overlapping characteristics, making differentiation between them challenging. The objective of this research is to create a radiogenomics map by correlating radiomic features to molecular phenotypes in ChRCC and RO, using resection as the gold standard. Fourteen patients (6 RO and 8 ChRCC) were included in the prospective study.

Tissue-mimicking materials (TMM) phantoms, favoured over animal models for ethical and consistency reasons, were created using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with varying molecular weights (Mw).

An Incidental Discovery of a Large Falciform Ligament Defect During Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy.

The falciform ligament is a thin fold of peritoneum that attaches the liver to the anterior abdominal wall and the diaphragm. Its defect refers to an abnormal opening in the falciform ligament, a very rare condition that can be congenital or due to acquired causes. In this report, we present a case of a 42-year-old patient with a large asymptomatic falciform ligament defect incidentally discovered during laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
