Introduction: Treatment options for patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with disease progression on/after osimertinib and platinum-based chemotherapy are limited.
Methods: CHRYSALIS-2 Cohort A evaluated amivantamab+lazertinib in patients with EGFR exon 19 deletion- or L858R-mutated NSCLC with disease progression on/after osimertinib and platinum-based chemotherapy. Primary endpoint was investigator-assessed objective response rate (ORR).

Background: Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) at interval cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer improves overall survival but its role in recurrent disease is uncertain. We aimed to compare outcomes in patients treated with or without HIPEC during surgery for recurrent ovarian cancer.
Methods: The multicentre, open-label, randomised, phase 3 CHIPOR trial was conducted at 31 sites in France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada, and enrolled patients with first relapse of epithelial ovarian cancer at least 6 months after completing platinum-based chemotherapy.

Aims: Patients with acute unilateral peripheral vestibular hypofunction (AUVP) show postural, ocular motor, and perceptive signs on the diseased side. The subjective visual vertical (SVV) test measures the perceived bias in earth-vertical orientation with a laser line in darkness. This study was aimed at (1) examining whether SVV bias could depend on preset line orientation and angles, and (2) investigating whether vestibular rehabilitation (VR) can improve SVV normalization.

Red blood cell (RBC) transfusion, limited by patient alloimmunization, demands accurate blood group typing. The Rh system requires specific attention due to the limitations of serological phenotyping methods. Although these have been compensated for by molecular biology solutions, some RhCE ambiguities remain unresolved.

The atomic structure and chemical ordering of Ni-Pt nanoalloys of different sizes and shapes are studied by numerical simulations using Monte Carlo methods and a realistic interatomic potential. The bulk Ni-Pt ordering tendency remains in fcc nanoparticles but we show some chemical ordering frustrations linked to surface reconstructions depending on the cluster size and shape. A reversed temperature dependence of Pt surface segregation is also established.

To probe the processing of gaze-dependent positional information and gaze-independent order information when matching strings of characters, we compared effects of visual similarity (hypothesized to affect gaze-centered position coding) with the effects of character transpositions (hypothesized to affect the processing of gaze-independent order information). In Experiment 1, we obtained empirical measures of visual similarity for pairs of characters, separately for uppercase consonants and keyboard symbols. These similarity values were then used in Experiment 2 to create pairs of four-character stimuli (four letters or four symbols) that could differ by substituting one character with a different character from the same category that was visually similar (e.

The association between vestibular pathologies and thyroid hormone disorders has been known for several decades. However, very little information is available on the types of vestibular symptoms that may be affected by altered thyroid hormone levels. The aim of this study was to provide patient data in order to identify statistical associations between vestibular pathologies and thyroid hormone disorders.

Dopamine affects processing of temporal information, but most previous work has tested its role in prospective tasks, where participants know in advance when the event to be timed starts. However, we are often exposed to events whose onset we do not know in advance. We can evaluate their duration after they have elapsed, but mechanisms underlying this ability are still elusive.

There are large individual differences in arithmetic skills. Although a number of brain-wide association studies have attempted to identify the neural correlates of these individual differences, studies have focused on relatively small sample sizes and have yielded inconsistent results. In the current voxel-based morphometry study, we merged six structural imaging datasets of children and adolescents (from 7.

Organochlorinated pesticides are highly persistent organic pollutants having important adverse effects in the environment. To study their fate, compound-specific isotope analysis (CSIA) may be used to investigate their degradation pathways and mechanisms but is currently limited to C isotope ratios. The assessment of Cl isotope ratios from mass spectra is complicated by the large number of isotopologues of polychlorinated compounds.

Thermoelectricity is a well-known effect that can be used to convert heat energy into electrical energy. However, the yield of this conversion is still low compared to current photovoltaic technology. It is limited by the intrinsic properties of materials, leading to intensive materials science investigations for the design of efficient thermoelectric (TE) materials.

This study delves into the absence of prognostic or predictive markers to guide rehabilitation in patients afflicted with vestibular schwannomas. The objective is to analyze the reweighting of subjective and instrumental indicators following surgery, at 7 days and 1 month postoperatively. This retrospective cohort encompasses 32 patients who underwent unilateral vestibular schwannoma surgery at the Marseille University Hospital between 2014 and 2019.

Reacting in an unpredictable context increases error monitoring as evidenced by greater error-related negativity (ERN), an electrophysiological marker linked to an evaluation of response outcomes. We investigated whether ERN also increased when participants evaluated their responses to events that appeared in unpredictable versus predictable moments in time. We complemented electroencephalographic (EEG) analysis of cortical activity by measuring performance monitoring processes at the peripheral level using electromyography (EMG).

While age-related auditory deficits and cochlear alterations are well described, those affecting the vestibular sensory organs and more broadly the central vestibular pathways are much less documented. Although there is inter-individual heterogeneity in the phenomenon of vestibular ageing, common tissue alterations, such as losses of sensory hair cells or primary and secondary neurons during the ageing process, can be noted. In this review, we document the cellular and molecular processes that occur during ageing in the peripheral and central vestibular system and relate them to the impact of age-related vestibular deficits based on current knowledge.

Printing graphene-based nanomaterials on flexible substrates has become a burgeoning platform for next-generation technologies. Combining graphene and nanoparticles to create hybrid nanomaterials has been proven to boost device performance, thanks to their complementary physical and chemical properties. However, high growth temperatures and long processing times are often required to produce high-quality graphene-based nanocomposites.

How do bees perceive altitude changes so as to produce safe displacements within their environment? It has been proved that humans use invariants, but this concept remains little-known within the entomology community. The use of a single invariant, the optical speed rate of change, has been extensively demonstrated in bees in a ground-following task. Recently, it has been demonstrated that another invariant, the splay angle rate of change, could also be used by bees to adjust their altitude.

Ge-rich GeSbTe(GGST) is considered as one of the best candidates for industrial phase change memory production. GGST memory cells are generally embedded with Si or Ti nitride layers to prevent oxidation, as it leads to an undesired decrease of the GGST crystallization temperature. Furthermore, GGST films are usually doped with elements such as N, C, O, or Bi, aiming to delay GGST crystallization during the fabrication process as well as during memory cell operation.

Here, we investigated the neural basis of inhibiting actions to temporally predictable targets using an EEG-EMG method. In our temporally cued version of the stop-signal paradigm (two-choice task), participants used temporal information delivered by a symbolic cue to speed their responses to the target.

Magnetic materials may be engineered to produce thermoelectric materials using spin-related effects. However, clear understanding of localized magnetic moments (µ), free carriers, and Seebeck coefficient (S) interrelations is mandatory for efficient material design. In this work, we investigate µ influence on the spin-dependent S of model ferromagnetic thin films, allowing µ thermal fluctuations, ordering, and density variation influence to be independently investigated.
