Background: Anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD1)/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) agents have only moderate antitumor activity in some advanced solid tumors (AST), including breast cancer (BC), prostate cancer (PC), cervical cancer (CC), and head and neck cancer (HNC). Combining anti-PD-L1 with anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein (CTLA) and chemotherapy may significantly improve efficacy.
Patients And Methods: MOVIE is a multicohort phase I/II study examining the combination of anti-PD-L1 durvalumab (Durv; 1500 mg IV Q4W) plus anti-CTLA tremelimumab (Trem; 75 mg IV Q4W) with metronomic vinorelbine (MVino; 20-40 mg orally daily) in various AST resistant to conventional therapies.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate evolution and prognosis of mucinous ovarian carcinomas (mOC), with respect to the two invasive patterns: expansile and infiltrative invasion. This was a descriptive, retrospective, multicenter study conducted in 13 French centres from 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2019. All patients operated on for epithelial ovarian neoplasia of the mucinous type (infiltrative/expansile) were included, whether the surgery was performed immediately or after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Sarcomas are a rare group of tumors with many subtypes, conventionally classified into soft-tissue sarcomas and bone sarcomas. Chemotherapeutic regimens form the mainstay of systemic therapy but are not well defined beyond the first-line setting and clinical outcomes are variable. Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), with a broad inhibition profile which have been shown to target tumor angiogenesis, have an established role in the treatment of sarcomas without characteristic driver alterations.

Introduction: Borderline ovarian tumours (BOT) represent 10-20% of epithelial tumours of the ovary. Although their prognosis is excellent, the recurrence rate can be as high as 30%, and recurrence in the infiltrative form accounts for 3% to 5% of recurrences. Affecting, in one third of cases, women of childbearing age, the surgical strategy with ovarian conservation is now recommended despite a significant risk of recurrence.

The European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD), the European College for the Study of Vulval Disease (ECSVD), and the European Federation for Colposcopy (EFC) developed consensus statements on pre-invasive vulvar lesions in order to improve the quality of care for patients with vulvar squamous intraepithelial neoplasia, vulvar Paget disease in situ, and melanoma in situ. For differentiated vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (dVIN), an excisional procedure must always be adopted. For vulvar high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (VHSIL), both excisional procedures and ablative ones can be used.

Background: Clear cell sarcoma (CCS) is a translocated aggressive malignancy with a high incidence of metastases and poor prognosis. There are few studies describing the activity of systemic therapy in CCS. We report a multi-institutional retrospective study of the outcomes of patients with advanced CCS treated with systemic therapy within the World Sarcoma Network (WSN).

Introduction: Cervical cancer (CC) is associated with poor prognosis and therapeutic morbidity in young women. The impact of European recommendations for treatments and follow-up of these patients must be assessed. There is no real-time CCU tracking basis.

Because of the peak incidence of cervical cancer between the ages of 35 and 44 and the increasing age of first pregnancy, the issue of fertility preservation in cases of early-stage cervical cancer in women in this reproductive age category arises. Early-stage cervical cancer patients have a good prognosis and are surgically treated in cases of mildly aggressive human papillomavirus-related histological type (squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma), FIGO stage IA to IB1 (i.e.

Objectives: Several studies have shown that in young children, behavioural and/or emotional disorders are more difficult to manage than regulatory disorders. Moreover, data are lacking on outcome predictive factors. This article presents a short synthesis of previous research about outcome predictive factors in child psychiatry.

Cancer centers had to quickly adapt to continue cancer therapies despite the high infection risks and major disruptions in the French healthcare system. We described and analyzed the impact of the pandemic in our institution: management adjustments, COVID-19 infection rates in patients and staff, and impacts on clinical activities and finances during the first wave of the pandemic from March to September 2020.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Immunotherapies (IT) have been rapidly approved for lung cancer treatment after the spectacular results in melanoma. Responses to the currently used checkpoint inhibitors are strikingly good especially in metastatic diseases.

Pain sensitization leading to polyalgia can be observed during infectious diseases. The blood pressure cuff-evoked pain threshold (BPCEPT) has been used in previous studies as a screening tool for fibromyalgia. We aimed to use the BPCEPT as a screening test for detecting pain sensitization in patients suffering from infectious diseases.

Historically, many investigations into neurodegenerative diseases have focused on alterations in specific neuronal populations such as, for example, the loss of midbrain dopaminergic neurons in Parkinson's disease (PD) and loss of cholinergic transmission in Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, it has become increasingly clear that mammalian brain activities, from executive and motor functioning to memory and emotional responses, are strictly regulated by the integrity of multiple interdependent neuronal circuits. Among subcortical structures, the dopaminergic nigrostriatal and mesolimbic pathways as well as cholinergic innervation from basal forebrain and brainstem, play pivotal roles in orchestrating cognitive and non-cognitive symptoms in PD and AD.

Background: Retrospective analyses suggest that patients with advanced KIT exon 9-mutated gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) receiving imatinib 800 mg (rather than 400 mg) daily have better outcomes. In the adjuvant setting, the question of the optimal dose of imatinib remains unsettled.
Objective: We aimed to retrospectively assess the activity of imatinib 400 mg in both the adjuvant and the advanced settings.

The development of human papillomavirus (HPV)-based screening should detect more pre-cancerous changes and so reduce the incidence and mortality from cervical squamous carcinoma and cervical adenocarcinoma. However, many more women are high risk HPV (hrHPV) screen positive compared to cytology-based screening, especially in younger age-women. A variety of tests have become available which may triage into those hrHPV test-positive women who need immediate referral to colposcopy from those who need early repeat HPV tests or recall on the basis of their disease status.

The levels of methionine sulfoxide (MetO) and the abundances of methionine sulfoxide reductases (Msrs) were reported as important for the desiccation tolerance of seeds. To determine whether the MetO/Msrs system is related to reactive oxygen species (ROS) and involved in the regulation of germination in orthodox and recalcitrant seeds, Norway maple and sycamore were investigated. Changes in water content, MetO content, the abundance of MsrB1 and MsrB2 in relation to ROS content and the activity of reductases depending on nicotinamide adenine dinucleotides were monitored.

The standard of care for patients with advanced cervical cancer (ACC) includes platinum-based chemotherapy. The concept of platinum sensitivity is a major prognostic factor for patients with ovarian cancer. The aim of this study was to validate the applicability of the platinum sensitivity concept to ACC patients, and to estimate its prognostic interest in terms of overall survival (OS) and pattern of recurrence (location, timing).
