In this study, the disparities in CVD-related mortality trends in Texas and the United States from 1999 to 2019 were assessed.
Methods: Trends in CVD-related mortality were evaluated through analysis of the Multiple Causes of Death Files from the National Center for Health Statistics.

Hairy cell leukemia (HCL) is a rare B-cell neoplasm that constitutes around 2 percent of all lymphoid leukemias and occurs more frequently in elderly males. The usual triad of HCL includes pancytopenia, splenomegaly, and hairy cells in the bone marrow. This is a case of an atypical presentation of biclonal HCL diagnosed on flow cytometry; the existence of biclonal HCL is extremely rare with very few case reports.

Introduction: Multiple reviews of the applicability, cost-effectiveness, and safety of daycare reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament have been published in French, American, and British setups, but have not been described in our population.
Materials And Methods: In this study, 25 patients who underwent Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction (ACLR) as a daycare surgery in our setup were assessed retrospectively. Post-operatively patients were reviewed for pain, complications, conversion from daycare to inpatients, readmission within two weeks post ACLR and cost-effectiveness.
Accidental ingestion of fish bones can lead to serious complications, such as gastrointestinal perforation and hepatic abscesses. This case series presents three instances where fish bone ingestion led to secondary GI tract perforation and the development of hepatic abscesses. It also emphasizes the importance of prompt diagnosis and intervention to prevent serious consequences.

: To describe social and psychological needs, such as poverty, early trauma, or adverse childhood events, of caregivers with a child newly diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) or receiving a designation of high-risk for cerebral palsy (HRCP). : Caregiver self-report questionnaires screening for unmet social needs, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), depression symptoms, and trauma were collected from 97 caregivers of children with CP/HRCP seen in a high-risk infant follow-up clinic (adjusted age range 1-24 months). We compared their responses to those of 97 caregivers of age-matched controls seen in the same clinic with similar risk factors over the equivalent time period.

Aims: Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is one of the most strongly associated risk factors for stroke. Our study aims to analyze changes in mortality from 1999 to 2020 in patients with AF and stroke.
Methods: Using the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention Wide-Ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research (CDC-WONDER), we retrospectively analyzed annual age-adjusted mortality rates (AAMR) per million from 1999 to 2020 in stroke patients with AF.
Objectives: This review aims to evaluate the utility of nonmedicated middle meatal packing compared to no packing on synechia formation up to 12 weeks after endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS).

The six International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) Baseline Nursing Standards provide the first evidence-based framework for assessing and improving pediatric oncology nursing practice settings in low-, middle-, and high-income countries. Over the past 10 years, the standards have been translated to six languages, endorsed by 13 organizations, surveyed at 101 hospitals in 54 countries, and initiatives have been documented at over 63 institutions in 31 countries. Going forward, the SIOP Nursing Network's Baseline Standards Special Interest Group has established a 5-year strategic plan to guide advocacy, research, and standards implementation through global multidisciplinary collaboration.
