Objective: To observe expression of CD38, a key modulator of nicotinamide dinucleotide (NAD+) metabolism in mice with knee osteoarthritis, and protective effect of CD38 inhibition during the osteoarthritis (OA) development.
Method: The destabilization of the medial meniscus (DMM) model was performed in mice to mimic the process of OA. Immunofluorescence of CD38 was performed to evaluate its response during the OA process.

The deubiquitinating enzyme USP46 (ubiquitin-specific protease 46) is implicated in various cancers. However, its role and regulatory mechanism in HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) are still unknown. In this study, we showed that USP46 is downregulated in HCC tissues and that low USP46 levels are associated with poor prognosis in HCC patients.

MTFR2 is an oncogene involved in the progression of cancer, its' potential mechanism in oral squamous carcinoma remains unknown. The aim of this study was to uncover the bio-function and the mechanism of MTFR2 in the progression of oral squamous carcinoma. We scanned TCGA database to identify MTFR2 as dysregulated genes.
