Wound healing is a dynamic process involving multiple cell types and signaling pathways. Dermal sheath cells (DSCs), residing surrounding hair follicles, play a critical role in tissue repair, yet their regulatory mechanisms remain unclear. This study used single-cell proteomics with the mouse model to explore DSC function across different healing stages.

Development of a model for measuring sagittal plane parameters in 10-18-year old adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis based on RTMpose deep learning technology.

Purpose: The study aimed to develop a deep learning model for rapid, automated measurement of full-spine X-rays in adolescents with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS). A significant challenge in this field is the time-consuming nature of manual measurements and the inter-individual variability in these measurements. To address these challenges, we utilized RTMpose deep learning technology to automate the process.

Globally, lung cancer stands as the leading type of cancer in terms of incidence and is the major source of mortality attributed to cancer. We have outlined the molecular biomarkers for lung cancer that are available clinically. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) spread from the original location, circulate in the bloodstream, extravasate, and metastasize, forming secondary tumors by invading and establishing a favorable environment.

miR-378a-5p exerts tumor-suppressive effects on esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after neoadjuvant immunotherapy by downregulating APOC1/CEP55.

Genetic assessment of tumors following neoadjuvant immunotherapy helps identifying targets that mediate anti-tumor immunity. In this study, we explored dysregulated RNAs in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma samples after neoadjuvant immunotherapy using deep sequencing and high-throughput screening. We identified 584 differentially expressed messenger RNAs (mRNAs), 67 differentially expressed microRNAs (miRNAs), and 1,047 differentially expressed long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) using differential expression analysis.

Regulatory role of PI3K/Akt/WNK1 signal pathway in mouse model of bone cancer pain.

In the advanced stage of cancer, the pain caused by bone metastasis is unbearable, but the mechanism of bone cancer pain (BCP) is very complicated and remains unclear. In this study, we used 4T1 mouse breast cancer cells to establish a bone cancer pain model to study the mechanism of BCP. Then the paw withdrawal mechanical threshold (PWMT) and the hematoxylin-eosin staining were used to reflect the erosion of cancer cells on tibia tissue.

Delayed chylopericardium after radical surgery for esophageal cancer: a case report.

Background: Postoperative chylpericardium is a rare clinical disease that often manifests as chest tightness, shortness of breathdyspnea, and other symptoms of pericardial tamponade. The etiological spectrum of chylopericardium is complex, but the disease is mainly idiopathic. Chylopericardium caused by thoracic surgery is rarely reported, both at home and abroad.

With the development of the medical industry, new painkillers continue to appear in people's field of vision, but so far no painkiller can replace morphine. While morphine has a strong analgesic effect, it is also easy to produce pain sensitivity and tolerance. Due to the great inter-individual differences in patient responses, there are few clear instructions on how to optimise morphine administration regimens, which complicates clinicians' treatment strategies and limits the effectiveness of morphine in long-term pain therapy.

[Epidemiological investigation on allergic diseases related to animal dander of cats, dogs and horses].

A multicenter Chinese mainland survey was conducted to investigate the sensitization distribution characteristics of cat, dog and horse dander in patients with allergic diseases, so as to provide clinicians with epidemiological data of common animal allergens and useful information for the prevention and treatment of allergies in cats, dogs and horses. The epidemiological investigation and design was adopted. This study is based on the national epidemiological survey of allergic diseases led by the first affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.

Inferior Vena Cava Filter Migrated to Left Ventricle.

Inferior vena cava (IVC) filters have been widely used to prevent pulmonary emboli in patients with venous thromboembolism. Here we report a rare case of complete pericardial tamponade with severe mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitation due to a fractured IVC filter. A 38-year-old male came to our emergency department with a 19-day history of progressive chest tightness.

Background: The aim of the study was to investigate the changes of blood flow signal in residual cancer after ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) treatment of rabbit liver cancer over time, and to analyse the correlation between changes in blood flow signal and changes in hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in residual cancer tissue after RFA.

Materials And Methods: One hundred and ten rabbits were randomly selected, VX2 tumour cells were implanted subcutaneously, tumour cells were implanted in liver. Ninety rabbits were divided into three groups: Group 1 - untreated controls, Group 2 - RFA group, Group 3 - surgical resection group.

Sequential measurements of serum matrix metalloproteinase 9 to monitor chemotherapy responses in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer.

Background: Matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) plays an important role in tumor invasion and metastasis, including lung cancer. However, whether variations in serum MMP-9 levels can serve as a biomarker for monitoring chemotherapy curative effect remains unclear. This study was designed to investigate the association between variations in serum MMP-9 levels and chemotherapy curative effect in patients with lung cancer.

[Design on tester of pull-out force for orthodontic micro implant].

A special device for measuring the pull-out force of orthodontic micro implant was designed, which has the characteristics of simple construction and easy operation, and can be used to detect the pull-out-force of orthodontic micro implant. The tested data was stored and analyzed by a computer, and as the results, the pull-out-force curve, maximum pull-out force as well as average pull-out force were outputted, which was applied in analyzing or investigating the initial stability and immediate loading property of orthodontic micro implant.
