Aim And Background: Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) are increasingly recognized for their role in immunity. Despite growing interest, a systematic bibliometric analysis of TLS-related research has been lacking. To provide a comprehensive overview of current research trends and hotspots, we conducted a bibliometric analysis using data from the Web of Science Core Collection.

Tumor vascular normalization (TVN) is associated with antitumor therapeutic efficacy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). However, the short time window of TVN is the biggest hindrance to its wide clinical application. We investigated whether targeting transforming growth factor beta can enhance the TVN effect of bevacizumab (BEV)-induced patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models of NPC.

Dendritic cells (DCs) can mediate immune responses or immune tolerance depending on their immunophenotype and functional status. Remodeling of DCs' immune functions can develop proper therapeutic regimens for different immune-mediated diseases. In the immunopathology of autoimmune diseases (ADs), activated DCs notably promote effector T-cell polarization and exacerbate the disease.

Background: KL-A167 is a fully humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death-ligand 1. This phase 2 study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of KL-A167 in Chinese patients with previously treated recurrent or metastatic (R/M) nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
Methods: This was a multicentre, single-arm, phase 2 study of KL-A167 in R/M NPC (KL167-2-05-CTP) (NCT03848286), conducted at 42 hospitals across the People's Republic of China.

The performance of implanted biomaterials is largely determined by their interaction with the host immune system. As a fibrous-like 3D network, fibrin matrix formed at the interfaces of tissue and material, whose effects on dendritic cells (DCs) remain unknown. Here, a bone plates implantation model was developed to evaluate the fibrin matrix deposition and DCs recruitment .

Objective: To develop and validate a radiomics nomogram based on pre-treatment, early treatment ultrasound (US) radiomics features combined with clinical characteristics for early prediction of response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in breast cancer.
Method: A total of 217 patients with histological results of breast cancer receiving four to eight cycles of NAC before surgery from January 2018 to December 2020 were enrolled. Patients from the study population were randomly separated into a training set (n = 152) and a validation set (n = 65) at a ratio of 7:3.

Objective: The aim of this study was to develop a nomogram-based model to predict the three-year and five-year overall survival (OS) of patients with stage II/III colon cancer following radical resection.
Methods: A total of 1156 patients with stage II/III colon cancer who underwent radical resection at the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University between December 2012 and December 2018 were enrolled. Lasso regression was used to screen out 12 variables: age, prealbumin, albumin, degree of differentiation, total tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage, T stage, N stage, prognostic nutritional index (PNI), platelet/lymphocyte count, carcinoembryonic antigen, carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy.

To explore the relationship between expression levels of CLOCK mRNA and protein and the clinical characteristics of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The frozen tissue specimens from 33 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Guizhou Medical University from 2018 to 2019 were collected. Seventeen cases of tissue specimens from patients with nasopharyngeal chronic inflammation in the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University in 2019 were collected.

Liver cancer (LC) is the leading cause for tumor-related death worldwide, and microRNAs (miRs) have been demonstrated to regulate the progression of LC. In the current study, the function of miR-660 in LC cells was investigated, and the results indicated that miR-660 was highly expressed in LC tissues and cells. This increased expression promoted LC cell proliferation and increased the percentage of S phase cells, while miR-660 knockdown inhibited cell proliferation and increased the percentage of G/G phase cells.

To evaluate the mental state and quality of life in patients with vasomotor rhinitis (VMR) before and after treatment, and to provide guidance for improving the overall health of VMR patients. Two hundred and twenty VMR patients (VMR group, 118 males, 102 females; aged from 18 to 72 years old), three hundred and twenty allergic rhinitis (AR) patients (AR group, 178 males, 142 females; aged from 18 to 79 years old) from January 2016 to September 2019 were selected in the otolaryngology clinic of Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, four hundred and twenty-three healthy people (control group, 243 males, 180 females; aged from 19 to 70 years old) were selected in physical examination center at the same time by continuous enrollment method, symptom check list (SCL-90), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were used to evaluate the mental state of VMR patients before and after treatment, and 12-item short form health survey version 2.0 (SF-12v2) was used to evaluate their quality of life, statistical data were collected and analyzed by ANOVA and -test.
