Background: Recently, there has been a surge in virtual reality (VR)-based training for upper limb (UL) rehabilitation, which has yielded mixed results. Therefore, we aimed to explore the effects of conventional therapy combined with VR-based training on UL dysfunction during post-stroke rehabilitation.
Methods: Studies published in English before May 2023 were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library.
Objective: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy of combination scalp acupuncture in treating post-stroke cognitive impairment.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted across eight databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Database, Embase, CBM, CNKI, WanFang, and VIP, targeting randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from the inception of these databases until October 24, 2024. The inclusion criteria focused on RCTs that compared scalp acupuncture with conventional treatments as therapeutic interventions for patients suffering from post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI).

Introduction: Upper extremity deficits (UED) is a common and impactful complication among stroke survivors. Virtual reality (VR)-based rehabilitation holds potential for enhancing rehabilitation intensity and engagement by stimulating tasks. While several clinical studies have examined the effectiveness and safety of VR-based rehabilitation, there is a need for further research to improve consistency in outcomes.

This study aimed to identify genes associated with autophagy and potential diagnostic biomarkers by comparing the gene expression profiles of synovial tissues in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and healthy individuals, aiming to offer new insights for clinical treatment strategies. We used publicly available datasets to analyze differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the synovial tissue of RA patients and healthy individuals. Then, we intersected these DEGs with autophagy-related genes to identify autophagy genes in the synovial tissue of RA patients.

Background And Objective: From a clinical standpoint, myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MIRI) has always been an enormous challenge for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Molecular targeting therapy may help overcome this challenge. The present work aimed to elucidate the possible involvement of Yin-Yang 1 (YY1)/nuclear receptor-interacting protein 1 (NRIP1) and discover the molecular mechanism of MIRI.

Background: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) posits that chronic prostatitis is associated with the accumulation of damp-heat pathogenic factors in the lower jiao. The Bixie Fenqing decoction (BFD) eliminates damp-heat pathogenic factors in the body, thereby alleviating inflammation and improving symptoms.
Methods: Databases such as CNKI, WanFang, VIP, CBM, ClinicalKey, PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched.

Objective: To analyze the main active components and potential molecular mechanism of Yishen Tongluo Prescription (YTP) in the treatment of male infertility based on network pharmacological technology.
Methods: We searched and sorted the main active components of YTP and their individual potential targets in the databases of Systematic Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Bioinformatics Analysis Tool of the Molecular Mechanism of TCM, and screened the targets related to male infertility diseases in the databases of Genecards, DisGeNET and OMIM. We made a Venn diagram by intersecting the predicted targets of YTP and those of male infertility diseases, constructed visualized networks for the association of the intersection targets and protein-protein interaction (PPI) using the Cytoscape software and STRING platform respectively, and conducted gene ontology (GO) and KEGG enrichment analyses using the DAVID database and R language "Cluster Profiler" software package respectively.

Purpose: Osteoporosis represents a profound challenge to public health, underscoring the critical need to dissect its complex etiology and identify viable targets for intervention. Within this context, the gut microbiota has emerged as a focal point of research due to its profound influence on bone metabolism. Despite this growing interest, the literature has yet to see a bibliometric study addressing the gut microbiota's contribution to both the development and management of osteoporosis.

Importance: Previous studies have shown that Jinlida (JLD) granules, an approved treatment for type 2 diabetes in China, can reduce blood glucose level, reduce glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and improve insulin resistance in people with type 2 diabetes.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of long-term administration of JLD vs placebo on the incidence of diabetes in participants with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and multiple metabolic abnormalities.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial (FOCUS) was conducted across 35 centers in 21 cities in China from June 2019 to February 2023.
