Rapid and accurate detection of Chlamydia psittaci, the causative agent of psittacosis, is crucial for both human and animal health but presents significant challenges, particularly in grassroots health institutions. Our previous PDTCTR fluorescence sensing platform, which combined the engineered Cas12f1_ge4.1 system with recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), significantly enhanced detection efficiency.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the predictive value of mitochondrial oxidative stress-related LncRNA in cancer prognosis and immunotherapy response, and to further analyze the molecular structure of ribosomal protein L34 and its interaction mechanism with the protein. We screened lncrnas associated with mitochondrial oxidative stress, evaluated their expression patterns in different cancer types, and analyzed the three-dimensional structure of ribosomal protein L34 and its interaction network with other proteins. In this study, public databases were used to screen out lncrnas associated with mitochondrial oxidative stress.

Background: Phenolic pollutants with high toxicity and low biodegradability can disrupt environmental balance and severely affect human health, whereas existing methods are difficult to implement the rapid and high-throughput detection of multiple phenolic pollutants.
Results: Herein, we developed a four-dimensional colorimetric sensor array based on imidazole-modulated Cu@MOFs for distinguishing and determining phenolic pollutants. Wherein, four Cu@MOFs (ATP@Cu, ADP@Cu, AMP@Cu, and GMP@Cu) nanozyme with laccase-like activity were firstly prepared, and a novel strategy of imidazole-containing molecules-regulated was proposed to improve the laccase-like activity of Cu@MOFs nanozymes.
Melanoma is an aggressive type of skin cancer that arises from melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing skin pigment. In contrast to non-melanoma skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma is more invasive. Melanoma was distinguished by its rapid progression, high metastatic potential, and significant resistance to conventional therapies.

Introduction Recently, immune cells within the tumor microenvironment (TME) have become crucial in regulating cancer progression and treatment responses. The dynamic interactions between tumors and immune cells are emerging as a promising strategy to activate the host's immune system against various cancers. The development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) involve complex biological processes, with the role of the TME and tumor phenotypes still not fully understood.

A growing body of evidence suggests the involvement of long noncoding ribose nucleic acids (lncRNAs) in acute kidney injury (AKI). This study focused on the mechanistic role of lncRNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 12 (SNHG12) in ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-mediated AKI. A model of hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) was created using human kidney cells (HK-2).

Primary malignant bone tumors are the third highest cause of cancer-related mortality among patients under the age of 20. X-ray scan is the primary tool for detecting bone tumors. However, due to the varying morphologies of bone tumors, it is challenging for radiologists to make a definitive diagnosis based on radiographs.

Background: Skin wounds are highly common in diabetic patients, and with increasing types of pathogenic bacteria and antibiotic resistance, wounds and infections in diabetic patients are difficult to treat and heal.
Aim: To explore the effects of betaine ointment (BO) in promoting the healing of skin wounds and reducing the inflammation and apoptosis of skin cells in microbially infected diabetic mice.
Methods: By detecting the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of betaine and plant monomer components such as psoralen, we prepared BO with betaine as the main ingredient, blended it with traditional Chinese medicines such as gromwell root and psoralen, and evaluated its antibacterial effects and safety and .

Background: Mycotoxin, a secondary metabolite of fungus, found worldwide and concerning in crops and food, causes multiple acute and chronic toxicities. Its toxic profile includes hepatotoxicity, carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, estrogenicity, immunotoxicity, and neurotoxicity, leading to deleterious impact on human and animal health. Emerging evidence suggests that it adversely affects perinatal health and progeny by its ability to cross placental barriers.

In recent years, machine learning has gained substantial attention for its ability to predict complex chemical and biological properties, including those of pharmaceutical compounds. This study proposes a machine learning-based quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) model for predicting the physicochemical properties of anti-arrhythmia drugs using topological descriptors. Anti-arrhythmic drug development is challenging due to the complex relationship between chemical structure and drug efficacy.
