At present, this surgical approach has been applied for atrioventricular valve disease, atrial septum defects plus and partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage, cardiac tumors, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, aortic valve disease, and atrial fibrillation.

[Retrospective clinical study on cryopreservation-free integrated autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation model for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma].

To explore the efficacy and safety of cryopreservation-free integrated autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) model for patients with multiple myeloma. A total of 96 patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) between July 31, 2020, and December 31, 2022, were retrospectively analyzed, of which 41 patients in the observation group received integrated non-cryopreserved transplantation mode. After hematopoietic stem cells were mobilized and collected, melphalan was started immediately for pre-transplant conditioning, and non-cryopreserved grafts from the medical blood transfusion refrigerator were directly injected intravenously into the patient within 24-48 h after the melphalan conditioning.

Methods: In this study, 41 patients with GTCS, comprising 21 untreated patients and 20 patients who received antiseizure medications (ASMs), and 29 healthy controls were recruited to construct large-scale brain networks based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging. Structural and functional connectivity and network-level weighted correlation probability (NWCP) were further investigated to identify network features that corresponded to response to ASMs.

The purpose of this study was to explore the segment change of false-lumen area ratio (FLAR; the ratio of the maximal false-lumen area to the total lumen area) in the descending aorta and its relationship with renal replacement therapy (RRT) after total aortic arch (TAA) surgery.

Methods: A total of 228 patients with AAD who received TAA using perfusion mode right axillary and femur artery cannulation between March 2013 and March 2022 were included in a cross-sectional study.

Alkyl chains with various carbon spacer lengths (n = 1, 5, 11, and 17) are introduced onto DASAs to optimize the organic-inorganic interfaces: 1) Prolonging the carbon spacers weakens the intermolecular aggregation and promotes isomerization in the solid state.
