A tibia shaft fracture is one of the most common long bone fractures, with two general types, open fracture and close fracture. However, there is no universally accepted guideline suggesting which treatment to use under certain circumstances. Therefore, a comprehensive network meta-analysis (NMA) is needed to summarize existing studies and to provide more credible data-based medical guidelines.

Introduction: The transition from chronic non-atrophic gastritis (CNAG) to chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and gastric carcinoma (GC) is regarded as a representative disease model of gastric mucosa malignant transformation led by uncontrolled inflammation. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome-targeted therapies have been applied in treating chronic gastritis (CG) malignant transformation in China with satisfying efficacy. This study aims to validate TCM syndrome features in each stage of CG malignant transformation.

Objective: To investigate the effect of micro ribonucleic acid (miR)-214-3p on the fracture healing process of mice and its mechanism.

Materials And Methods: 90 mice were selected and randomly divided into three groups to establish the right tibial fracture model. AgomiR-214-3p or agomiR negative control (agomiR-NC), or the same volume of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), was injected locally at 0 d, 7 d, 14 d and 21 d after operation, respectively.

The present study aimed to analyze the association rules of Fufang Kushen injection in combined medications in the real world based on electrical medical records in hospital information system, and provide reference for its reasonable clinical application. The electrical medical records of the hospitalized patients using Fufang Kushen injection were extracted to analyze the frequency distribution characteristics in combined application with Western medicine, and analyze the specific association rules between these combinations by using Apriori algorithm. A total of 49 597 patients were included in the study, and its common combined medications included 5-HT receptor blockers, hepatic protector, antibiotics, chemotherapeutic drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, glucocorticoids, analgetics and proton pump inhibitors.

Hepatic fibrosis is a naturally occurring wound-healing reaction, with an imbalance of extracellular matrix (ECM) during tissue repair response, which can further deteriorate to hepatocellular carcinoma without timely treatment. Inhibiting activated hepatic stellate cell (HSC) proliferation and inducing apoptosis are the main methods for the treatment of liver fibrosis. In our previous study, we found that the TOA-glycine derivative (G-TOA) had exhibited more significant inhibitory activity against HepG2 cells and better hydrophilicity than TOA, ligustrazine (TMP), and oleanolic acid (OA).
