Introduction: This research aimed to explore the determinants of cervical HPV infection and evaluate how cervical cancer screening outcomes influence sexual functioning and anxiety among women across three provinces in China.

Methods: Study participants were categorized into HPV-positive or HPV-negative groups, after which they completed the General Characteristics Questionnaire and the SAS Anxiety Scale. The HPV-positive cohort was further divided into four subgroups: Subgroup 1 consisted of individuals with HPV types 16 or 18 but no cytological abnormalities.

Efficacy of non-pharmacological treatments for knee osteoarthritis: A systematic review and network meta-analysis.

Purpose: This study aims to conduct a network meta-analysis to compare the clinical efficacy of seven distinct non-pharmacological therapies for knee osteoarthritis. We hope that our research findings can provide reference for clinical practitioners in formulating treatment plans.

Methods: Through a computer-based search, we systematically retrieved randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on non-pharmacological therapies for knee osteoarthritis from eight databases, including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, and The Cochrane Library.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) represent a groundbreaking approach to cancer therapy. Inflammatory markers such as the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) have emerged as potential indicators strongly associated with tumor prognosis, albeit their prognostic significance remains contentious. The predictive value of NLR, PLR, LMR in patients with gastric cancer (GC) treated with ICIs has not been fully explored; therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to examine the potential of inflammatory markers NLR, PLR, and LMR as survival predictors in this population.

Effect of acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation on quality of life in acute coronary syndrome patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.

Objective: This study assessed the impact of acupuncture combined with exercise rehabilitation on the quality of life in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Methods: In a retrospective study at the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 114 post-PCI ACS patients were analyzed from March 2021 to June 2023. Fifty-five underwent exercise rehabilitation (control group), while 59 received both acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation (joint group).

The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and Chinese Short-Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) were used to evaluate treatment efficacy prior to surgery and at the last follow-up.

Observational studies have suggested that there may be a connection between systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and a higher likelihood of developing urological cancers, although the exact cause-effect relationship is still unclear. This study therefore investigated the causal relationship between SLE and urological cancers using the Mendelian randomization (MR) approach. Our primary MR analysis involved using the inverse variance weighted method, which employed an inverse-variance-weighted approach, to examine the causal relationship between SLE and urological conditions.
