Objective: Immune cells play a key role in tumor microenvironment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the infiltration and clinical indication of immune cells including their combined prognostic value in microenvironment of triple negative breast cancer.

Methods: We investigated 100 patients with triple negative breast cancer by Opal/Tyramide Signal Amplification multispectral immunofluorescence between 2003 and 2017 at Zhejiang Provincial people's Hospital.

Methods: RNA samples from cancerous tissues and adjacent tissues extracted from patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) from Hangzhou First People's Hospital, Zhejiang, China from January 2019 to January 2020 were used for m6A-sequencing.

Background: Sarcomatoid carcinoma (SCP) and carcinosarcoma (CSP) of the pancreas are extremely rare entities and little is known about their characteristics. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a malignant cancer with severely poor survival, and the cells continue to thrive during hypoxia and toxic stress through autophagy. To validate the oncogenic role of long noncoding RNA H19 in GBM progression and examine whether autophagy and/or miR-491-5p participate in the process. The expression of H19 and autophagy-related genes in GBM and healthy control tissues was assessed via quantitative polymerase chain reaction.

Breast cancer type 1 sensitive protein (BRCA1) is a well-known tumor suppressor and its role in oxidative stress has been confirmed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether paeonol has a protective effect on myocardial hypoxia-reoxygenation (A/R) injury, and to explore H9C2 cells through a mechanism-dependent pathway mediated by BRCA1. H9C2 cells were pretreated with paeonol (10 µM) for 18 h before hypoxia was induced to establish a cell model of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury.

The survival benefit of radiotherapy in localized primary adult rhabdomyosarcoma.

Aim: To evaluate the role of radiotherapy (RT) in the treatment of localized primary adult rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS).

Methods: This retrospective study identified 62 consecutive adult patients with localized primary RMS from January 2000 and July 2016. Local failure-free survival (LFFS), distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) and overall survival (OS) were analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method.

Identification of somatic copy number variations in plasma cell free DNA correlating with intrinsic resistances to EGFR targeted therapy in T790M negative non-small cell lung cancer.

Background: About 20-30% EGFR-mutant non-small lung cancer show intrinsic resistance to EGFR targeted therapies. Compared to T790M positive in acquired resistance patients, little is known about EGFR-TKI intrinsic resistance for T790M negative patients.

Methods: Thirty-one patients with advanced stage lung cancer, including 18 patients with intrinsic resistance (PFS <6 months) and 13 patients with acquired resistance (PFS >36 months) but are negative for plasma T790M were recruited in the study.
