Methods: Seven databases were thoroughly searched, from their inception until April 2023.

Here, the meaning of HCI was briefly explained, the history of optical imaging and the birth of HCI were described, and the experimental methods of HCI were described.

Background: The fungal component of the human gut microbiome, also known as the mycobiome, plays a vital role in intestinal ecology and human health. However, the overall structure of the gut mycobiome as well as the inter-individual variations in fungal composition remains largely unknown. Background: There is an ongoing debate if weekend admissions of critically ill patients are associated with higher mortality rates. The current review aimed to specifically assess this effect in sepsis and septic shock patients by comparing mortality rates with weekend versus weekday admissions.

Methods: PubMed, CENTRAL, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase were searched up to 20th February 2023 with an additional search of Google Scholar for gray literature.

The present review and meta-analysis aimed to summarize the currently available data and to compare the important clinical and functional outcomes in patients with proximal humerus fractures who were treated using deltoid split (DS) or deltopectoral (DP) surgical approaches. The PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials databases were systematically searched for randomized controlled trials or observational studies that reported functional outcome data of patients with fracture of proximal humerus who were surgically treated using DS and DP approaches. A total of 14 studies were included in the present meta-analysis.

Ins@NU-1000 protects Ins from deactivation in the stomach acid environment and releases it in the intestine through the transformation of the micro-sized rod particles into spherical nanoparticles.

Thyroid hormones as biomarkers of lung cancer: a retrospective study.

Background: Thyroid hormones are key regulators of several physiological processes, including differentiation, embryonic development, proliferation, and metabolism. Several prospective studies have shown a relationship between hyperthyroidism and cancer incidence; however, since the association between thyroid hormone levels and lung cancer remains controversial, this study aimed to determine the correlation between the same.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 289 patients, who were diagnosed with lung cancer at the Huzhou Central Hospital between January 2016 and January 2021, and 238 healthy subjects.

Objective: This meta-analysis was designed to assess if pre-operative low skeletal muscle mass impacts mortality rates of patients undergoing abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair.

Methods: Datasets of PubMed, CENTRAL, ScienceDirect, Embase, and Google Scholar were searched from 1 January 1980 to 15 December 2021 for studies assessing the role of low skeletal muscle mass on mortality rates of AAA repair. Studies measuring skeletal muscle mass on computed tomography scans and reporting long-term mortality (>1 year) were included.

PGAM5 promotes tumorigenesis of gastric cancer cells through PI3K/AKT pathway.

PGAM5 has been associated with the development of tumours, however, its function in gastric cancer (GC) remains unexplored. Here, we investigated the role and mechanism of PGAM5 in regulating GC. The results revealed that PGAM5 was upregulated in GC tissues and cell lines, which was correlated with tumour size and TNM stage.
