[The experiences of atresia surgery under the direction of HRCT].

Objective: To probing the efficacy and safety of the utility of HRCT in the auditory rehabilitation surgery for the treatment of congenital aural atresia.

Method: HRCT were performed before the operation in 21 (22 ears) congenital aural atresia cases, one stage reconstruction surgery of auricle , external auditory meatus and middle ear were performed under the direction of HRCT.

Result: The 21 cases were followed up for 8 months to 4 years after operation and hearing improvement was 28 dB, no canal restenosis complications were occurred.

[Review of cochlear implantation in 110 cases].

Objective: To summarize the operation experiences in cochlear implantation.

Method: Multiple channel electrodes were implanted in 110 patients with severe hearing loss or total deaf.

Result: One hundred percentage of successful implantation was achieved, and the average hearing level of tone stimulation is 37.

[A clinical study on solute removal index as an index to quantitate the adequacy of hemodialysis].

Objective: In order to find a proper hemodialysis dosage and improve the life quality of the patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Methods: A clinical study of solute removal index (SRI) was performed in 20 stable maintenance hemodialysis patients. Plasma BUN level was tested before and at the end of hemodialysis as well as 1 hr post-hemodialysis.
