The challenges associated with heat dissipation in high-power electronic devices used in communication, new energy, and aerospace equipment have spurred an urgent need for high-performance thermal interface materials (TIMs) to establish efficient heat transfer pathways from the heater (chip) to heat sinks. Recently, emerging 2D materials, such as graphene and boron nitride, renowned for their ultrahigh basal-plane thermal conductivity and the capacity to facilitate cross-scale, multi-morphic structural design, have found widespread use as thermal fillers in the production of high-performance TIMs. To deepen the understanding of 2D material-based TIMs, this review focuses primarily on graphene and boron nitride-based TIMs, exploring their structures, properties, and applications.

Electromagnetic protection in extreme environments requires materials with excellent thermal insulation capability and mechanical property to withstand severe temperature fluctuations and complex external stresses. Achieving strong electromagnetic wave absorption (EMA) while sustaining these exceptional properties remains a significant challenge. Herein, a facile approach is demonstrated to fabricate a biomimetic leaf-vein MXene/CNTs/PI (MCP) aerogel with parallel venations through bidirectional freeze-casting method.

Atomic clocks with higher frequency stability and accuracy than traditional space-borne atomic clocks are the cornerstone of long-term autonomous operation of space-time-frequency systems. We proposed a space cold atoms clock based on an intracavity cooling scheme, which captures cold atoms at the center of a microwave cavity and then executes in situ interactions between the cold atoms and microwaves. As a result of the microgravity environment in space, the cold atoms can interact with the microwaves for a longer time, which aids in realizing a high-precision atomic clock in space.

Tumor metastasis occurs in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), leading to tumor progression and therapeutic failure. Anoikis is a matrix detachment-induced apoptosis, also known as detachment-induced cell death, and mechanistically prevents tumor cells from escaping their native extracellular matrix to metastasize to new organs. Deciphering the regulators and mechanisms of anoikis in cancer metastasis is urgently needed to treat HCC.

Background: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is one of the most common cerebrovascular diseases which accompanied by a disruption of aminothiols homeostasis. To explore the relationship of aminothiols with neurologic impairment severity, we investigated four aminothiols, homocysteine (Hcy), cysteine (Cys), cysteinylglycine (CG) and glutathione (GSH) in plasma and its influence on ischemic stroke severity in AIS patients.
Methods: A total of 150 clinical samples from AIS patients were selected for our study.

Background: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) serve as the immune system's primary transportation hub outside of the affected ablated tissue. This study aims to explore the transcriptomic profiling of the immune response in PBMCs induced by microwave ablation (MWA) in low-risk thyroid cancer.
Methods: For eight patients diagnosed with low-risk thyroid cancer, 10 ml of peripheral venous blood was collected before MWA as well as one day and one month after MWA.

Nerve guidance conduits (NGCs) are considered as promising treatment strategy and frontier trend for peripheral nerve regeneration, while their therapeutic outcomes are limited by the lack of controllable drug delivery and available physicochemical cues. Herein, novel aligned piezoelectric nanofibers derived hydrogel NGCs with ultrasound (US)-triggered electrical stimulation (ES) and controllable drug release for repairing peripheral nerve injury are proposed. The inner layer of the NGCs is the barium titanate piezoelectric nanoparticles (BTNPs)-doped polyvinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene [BTNPs/P(VDF-TrFE)] electrospinning nanofibers with improved piezoelectricity and aligned orientation.

Neural oscillations are critical to understanding the synchronisation of neural activities and their relevance to neurological disorders. For instance, the amplitude of beta oscillations in the subthalamic nucleus has gained extensive attention, as it has been found to correlate with medication status and the therapeutic effects of continuous deep brain stimulation in people with Parkinson's disease. However, the frequency stability of subthalamic nucleus beta oscillations, which has been suggested to be associated with dopaminergic information in brain states, has not been well explored.

Temperature fluctuations affect the performance of high-precision gravitational reference sensors. Due to the limited space and the complex interrelations among sensors, it is not feasible to directly measure the temperatures of sensor heads using temperature sensors. Hence, a high-accuracy interpolation method is essential for reconstructing the surface temperature of sensor heads.

The solid electrolyte LiGePS (LGPS) plays a crucial role in the development of all-solid-state batteries and has been widely studied both experimentally and theoretically. The properties of solid electrolytes, such as thermodynamic stability, conductivity, band gap, and more, are closely related to their ground-state structures. However, the presence of site-disordered co-occupancy of Ge/P and defective fractional occupancy of lithium ions results in an exceptionally large number of possible atomic configurations (structures).

The precise delivery of anti-seizure medications (ASM) to epileptic loci remains the major challenge to treat epilepsy without causing adverse drug reactions. The unprovoked nature of epileptic seizures raises the additional need to release ASMs in a spatiotemporal controlled manner. Targeting the oxidative stress in epileptic lesions, here the reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced in situ supramolecular assemblies that synergized bioorthogonal reactions to deliver inhibitory neurotransmitter (GABA) on-demand, are developed.

In this study, single-cell RNA-seq data were collected to analyze the characteristics of Histone deacetylation factor (HDF). The tumor microenvironment (TME) cell clusters related to prognosis and immune response were identified by using CRC tissue transcriptome and immunotherapy cohorts from public repository. We explored the expression characteristics of HDF in stromal cells, macrophages, T lymphocytes, and B lymphocytes of the CRC single-cell dataset TME and further identified 4 to 6 cell subclusters using the expression profiles of HDF-associated genes, respectively.
