Diabetic neuropathy (DN) is a neurodegenerative disorder that is primarily characterized by distal sensory loss, reduced mobility, and foot ulcers that may potentially lead to amputation. The multifaceted etiology of DN is linked to a range of inflammatory, vascular, metabolic, and other neurodegenerative factors. Chronic inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and oxidative stress are the three basic biological changes that contribute to the development of DN.

There is a need to establish consensus for harmonization in antiretroviral (ARV) therapy (ART) switch treatment strategy and address the dilemma that exists in terms of subpar immune response to therapy or an immunologic deterioration while on therapy. The purpose of this review is to identify the factors that contribute to ARV treatment failure, such as insufficient dosage, drug interactions, poor adherence, drug resistance, and poor medication absorption. It is crucial to adopt a more efficient strategy to address this challenging dilemma.

In this case report, two uncommon fractures of the root located at the apex of the mandibular anterior teeth region were successfully treated and preserved using non-surgical endodontic procedures. These teeth possess a unique size, characterized by the presence of exceptionally elongated lateral incisors measuring approximately 29 mm, central incisors measuring approximately 25 mm, and canines measuring approximately 30 mm. For the lower left central incisor, the root canal was carefully navigated to the coronal fragment, whereas the apical fragment was left undisturbed and preserved.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most prevalent neurodegenerative movement disorder worldwide, which is primarily characterized by motor impairments. Even though multiple hypotheses have been proposed over the decades that explain the pathogenesis of PD, presently, there are no cures or promising preventive therapies for PD. This could be attributed to the intricate pathophysiology of PD and the poorly understood molecular mechanism.

Introduction: Mobile phones are frequently used in environments of high bacteria presence. These can harbor various potential pathogens and become an exogenous source of nosocomial infections. Even in recent outbreak of COVID-19, it has become a point which needs to be sanitized to prevent and control further disease transmission as it is equally important for health-care professionals to use mobile phones in the hospital and other health and care settings, especially for communication.

Introduction: It is important to understand how a very common prevalent condition of tooth wear (TW) impacts a person's day-to-day oral health. An emerging concept of measuring the parameter of oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL), which evidently impacts the daily living of a person, makes it practical to examine the correlation between TW and OHRQoL. For measuring the OHRQoL, we can apply various methods, and the most effective is the use of the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP) questionnaire.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prominent neurodegenerative disorder in the aging population. It is characterized by cognitive decline, gradual neurodegeneration, and the development of amyloid-β (Aβ)-plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, which constitute hyperphosphorylated tau. The early stages of neurodegeneration in AD include the loss of neurons, followed by synaptic impairment.

Aims And Objectives: Conventionally, composites are cured using halogen-based light-curing units (LCUs). However, recently, light-emitting diode (LED) LCUs have been introduced commercially, claiming many advantages, yet producing comparable bond strength even when cured with single LED LCUs. This present study was undertaken to compare the shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets bonded to teeth with conventional halogen LCU (3M ESPE Elipar 2500) and LED LCU (3M ESPE Elipar FreeLight 2) and to determine the site of bond failure.
