Sigmoid volvulus during pregnancy is an extremely rare condition that presents as intestinal obstruction and can lead to severe complications for both the mother and fetus if not promptly diagnosed and treated. To our knowledge, this is the first documented case in Yemen. We report a case of a 39-year-old pregnant woman at 32 weeks of gestation who presented with acute abdominal pain, constipation, and signs of peritonitis.

The effects of Brownian motion, Joule heating, thermophoresis, chemical reaction and activation energy are taken into consideration in this work. It is important to mention that this analysis considers a 4 % volume fraction of the alumina nanoparticles.

This paper presents a subdivision collocation algorithm for numerically solving the heat conduction equation with non-uniform thermal diffusivity, considering both initial and boundary conditions. The algorithm involves transforming the differential form of the heat conduction equation into a system of equations and discretizing the time variable using the finite difference formula. The numerical solution of the system of heat conduction equations is then obtained.
