Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a complicated pathophysiological process, and there is now no recognized treatment. Hyperglycemia, neuropathy, impaired angiogenesis, reactive oxygen species, and advanced glycation end products construct the distinctive wound environment of diabetic wounds. This study aimed to develop naringenin-ferulic acid beeswax-based nanoconstructs enriched dual-responsive hydrogel (NAR-FA NLC HG) for topical application for DFU.

To our knowledge, this is the first documented case in Yemen. We report a case of a 39-year-old pregnant woman at 32 weeks of gestation who presented with acute abdominal pain, constipation, and signs of peritonitis.

In this work, a comparative analysis on magnetohydrodynamic nanofluid flow containing spherical and cylindrical-shaped alumina nanoparticles over a stretching curved surface is mainly focused. The effects of Brownian motion, Joule heating, thermophoresis, chemical reaction and activation energy are taken into consideration in this work. It is important to mention that this analysis considers a 4 % volume fraction of the alumina nanoparticles.

This work investigates the Kraenkel-Manna-Merle (KMM) system, which models the nonlinear propagation of short waves in saturated ferromagnetic materials subjected to an external magnetic field, despite the absence of electrical conductivity. The study aims to explore and derive new solitary wave solutions for this system using two distinct methodological approaches. In the first approach, the KMM system is transformed into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via Lie group transformation.

Background: Weight-gaining (WG) products are either medicine or herbal products that have been used intensively by the young and adolescents in Yemen. These products may contain undeclared potentially toxic ingredients that can lead to several health problems and diseases on long-term usage. This study was intended to evaluate the presence of some undeclared pharmaceuticals, dexamethasone (DX) and cyproheptadine (CPR), in WG products in Aden, Yemen.

This paper presents a subdivision collocation algorithm for numerically solving the heat conduction equation with non-uniform thermal diffusivity, considering both initial and boundary conditions. The algorithm involves transforming the differential form of the heat conduction equation into a system of equations and discretizing the time variable using the finite difference formula. The numerical solution of the system of heat conduction equations is then obtained.

Introduction: Various dendrimer nanoparticles have properties like multivalency, controlled size, and surface functionality that make them promising nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery and other applications in pharmaceutical sciences. The precise tunability of dendrimers is an advantage over other nanoparticles. The topological descriptors can be used to predict the physicochemical properties of dendrimers and optimize their branching pattern for specific applications.

Background: The rise of antimicrobial resistance, which is partially attributed to the overuse and/or misuse of antibiotics in health care, is one of the world's largest public health challenges. The distribution of antibiotics in absence of a prescription in pharmacies is a significant contributor to the growing global public health crisis of antibiotic resistance. A pharmacist's clinical and lawful knowledge of antibiotic provide has an impact on the proper way to dispense medication.

Background: Clinical pharmacy services (CPSs) are still in their infancy in Yemen. Furthermore, pharmacists are not members of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, so their responsibilities are limited to drug dispensing and marketing. This study examines physicians' attitudes and perceived obstacles regarding the inclusion of clinical pharmacists in hospital medical wards.

Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) are commonly used to treat hypertension that target the hormonal system (renin-angiotensin system (RAS)), which regulates various physiological functions in the body. ARBs work by blocking the binding of angiotensin II to its receptor, thereby preventing a rise in blood pressure. These drugs not only normalize the overactivation of RAS but also provide protective effects against cardiovascular, renal, and type 2 diabetic patients.

Diabetic cardiomyopathy, a multifaceted complication of diabetes mellitus, remains a major challenge in clinical management due to its intricate pathophysiology. Emerging evidence underscores the pivotal role of autophagy dysregulation in the progression of diabetic cardiomyopathy, providing a novel avenue for therapeutic intervention. Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), a diverse class of regulatory molecules, have recently emerged as promising candidates for targeted therapeutic strategies.
