Objective: The tobacco industry has introduced electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) as a less harmful substitute to cigarettes and as an aid to smoking cessation. Introduction: Following nasal hump removal during septorhinoplasty, the middle vault should be reconstructed to avoid functional and esthetic problems. Middle vault reconstruction, however, may result in widening of the middle vault and may need a camouflage graft to cover dorsal irregularities.

Congenital cervical teratomas are rare and usually large enough to cause respiratory distress in the neonatal period. We present two cases of congenital huge cystic neck masses in which distinguishing cervical cystic hygroma and congenital cystic teratoma was not possible through radiologic imaging techniques. Experience with the first case, which was initially diagnosed and treated as cystic hygroma by injection sclerotherapy, led to early suspicion and surgery in the second case.

How best is to discontinue postmenopausal hormone therapy: immediate or tapered?

Background: To evaluate the differences between the immediate and tapered cessation protocols of hormone therapy in terms of recurrence of menopausal symptoms.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective, randomized clinical study 70 consecutive patients in whom hormone therapy was no longer preferred were recruited from the menopause clinic of a university hospital and rank randomized into two groups. In group 1 (n=35) hormone therapy was immediately discontinued and in group 2 (n=35) the medication was tapered.
