Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate blood flow changes in the temporal and nasal short posterior ciliary arteries (SPCAs) in pseudoexfoliation syndrome using color Doppler ultrasonography.
Methods: This prospective clinical study included 67 eyes of 53 patients scheduled for cataract surgery. Pseudophakic eyes, eyes with traumatic cataract, were excluded.

Background: Acute appendicitis (AA) is the most common surgical disease, and appendectomy is the treatment of choice in the majority of cases. A correct diagnosis is key for decreasing the negative appendectomy rate. The management can become difficult in case of complicated appendicitis.
