Purpose: Postoperative fever (POF)/urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most unpleasant and undesirable conditions for surgeons after retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS). RIRS is not recommended for any patient with a positive urine culture to avoid POF and UTI, but some patients may develop postoperative UTI even if the urine culture is sterile. This study investigated the predictive factors of fever and UTIs after RIRS.

To compare the predictive effects of stone size and volume on the efficacy and safety of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) and to determine the cutoff values of stone volume for prediction of RIRS efficacy and safety. Patients who underwent RIRS between 2017 and 2021 in six referral centers were retrospectively included in the study. The database of the RIRsearch group, which was formed prospectively, was used for this retrospective analysis.

Embryo migration is defined as the movement of embryos to implant at the exact site in the endometrial cavity during assisted reproductive technology (ART). We aimed to evaluate the impact of embryo migration on clinical pregnancy (CPR) and live birth rates (LBR) in fresh oocyte donation (OD) cycles. A total of 611 fresh OD cycles was recruited in this prospective cohort study.

This guideline was prepared by the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine to define the conditions and requirements for an outsourced preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) programme in line with the experience and needs of practitioners. This guideline is intended to be a reference document for assisted reproductive technology centres, genetic diagnosis centres, non-governmental organizations working on reproductive health, legal experts, consultants working on laboratory accreditation, academicians specializing in ethical issues, and policy makers. The Consortium aims to provide recommendations addressing the challenges of genetic testing, especially PGT for monogenic diseases (PGT-M) due to the high rate of consanguineous marriage in Turkey.

Introduction: There are conflicting results in the literature regarding the efficacy of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) in lower pole stones. This study aimed to evaluate RIRS outcomes in lower pole stones by forming matched case-control groups.
Methods: The data of 491 patients who were diagnosed with kidney stones and underwent RIRS were retrospectively included in the study.

Introduction: The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) in elderly patients by comparing them with propensity score-matched age-groups.
Methods: Patients who underwent RIRS to treat upper urinary tract stone disease at seven centers were included in the study and were divided into four groups. The age intervals of the patients in group 1, group 2, group 3, and group 4 were 18-29 years old, 30-49 years old, 50-64 years old, and over 65 years old, respectively.

Reusable flexible ureteroscopes may lose their mechanical functionality through overuse, which is known as "aging of the flexible ureteroscope." Although mechanical deterioration has been shown in several studies, the data about the effect of this situation on the efficacy and safety of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) are missing. The aim of our study was to evaluate the effect of the aging of flexible ureteroscopes on the efficacy and safety of RIRS.

The study aimed to evaluate whether there is a difference in the expression of programmed cell death 1 ligand (PD-L1) in the cell lining of endometrioma between cases with and without recurrent disease. Additionally, we sought to assess the effect of cyst size and serum CA125 level on the expression of PD-L1 staining. The pathological specimens were immunohistochemically stained for PD-L1 in women who underwent surgery for endometrioma.

Purpose: To determine the impact of corrective exercise program applied during the period of rapid weight loss following bariatric surgery on static balance, dietary intake, and body composition.
Materials And Methods: Participants who had undergone Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG) surgery were divided into as Corrective Exercise Group (CEG), and Control Group (CG). CEG underwent a 12-week supervised corrective exercise program.
Objective: To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of ultrasonography (USG) and kidney ureter bladder radiography (KUB) for the determination of stone-free status of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) according to different stone-free status definitions.
Materials And Methods: The patients who underwent RIRS between September 2021 and September 2022 were prospectively included in the study. All patients underwent a KUB radiography, urinary system USG and noncontrast abdominal tomography at the postoperative first month of the surgery.

Background: We aimed to study the predictive value of preoperative perform [18F] Fludeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography ([18] FDG PET-CT) for survival in liver transplantation due to hepatocellular cancer.
Methods: Ninety-six patients who underwent liver transplantation for hepatocellular cancer (HCC) after preoperative PET-CT evaluation were examined for the study. All patients' ages, genders, body mass index, blood groups, Child-Pugh and Model for End-Stage Liver Disease scores, etiologies, median Alpha Fetoprotein values, Milan Criteria and T stages, grades, macrovascular and microvascular invasions, multicentricities, maximum and total tumor sizes, tumor number findings in explant specimens, and recurrence rates were analyzed statistically.

Background: The objective of this study was to evaluate the abilitiy of eccentric reaming in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RSA), in patients with glenohumeral osteoarthritis (GHOA), to correct preoperative glenoid retroversion and to compare with cuff tear arthopaty (CTA) cases.
Methods: Fifty-nine patients who underwent RSA with GHOA or CTA diagnosis between 2013 and 2022 and who had pre- and postoperative computed tomography scans were included in the study. Preoperative glenoid version and postoperative glenoid component versions of 17 patients with GHOA and 40 patients with CTA were measured by Friedman method.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) in patients with renal calculi with solitary kidneys (SKs). In this retrospective, multicenter study, a matched case-control study was carried out using the data from 522 RIRS patients treated between 2014 and 2021. Patients' demographic data, stone characteristics, operative outcomes, perioperative and postoperative complications, and surgical success were analyzed.

Objective: Factor 2 and Factor 5 mutations are among the most common procoagulant genetic disorders and are routinely evaluated in donor preparation. Homozygous mutations are contraindicated for surgery, but heterozygous mutations cannot be said to be an impediment. We aimed to investigate the effect of heterozygous gene mutation of F2 and/or F5 on complications.

Implant-free press-fit tibial fixation technique has gained popularity recently due to the problems in bone tunnel expansion, defect, and revision surgery due to the tibial fixation material preferred in anterior cruciate ligament surgery. Patellar tendon-tibial bone autograft offers several advantages in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. We describe a tibial tunnel preparation method and the use of patellar tendon-bone graft in the implant-free tibial press-fit technique.

Purpose: Does follicular homocysteine predict the reproductive potential of oocytes following FSH stimulation in PCOS women? Can it be modulated by dietary interventions?
Methods: This was a prospective, randomized, interventional clinical study. Forty-eight PCOS women undergoing in vitro fertilization at a private fertility clinic were randomized for a dietary supplementation providing micronutrients involved in homocysteine clearance or no treatment. The supplement was assumed 2 months before stimulation until pick-up day.

Background: It has been suggested that spinal manipulation may alter sensorimotor integration in the central nervous system and therefore may be used to treat central sensitization syndromes.
Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of spinal manipulation in addition to pharmacological treatment in patients with fibromyalgia.
Design: A single-center, randomized, and placebo-controlled trial with three parallel arms SETTING: Outpatient clinics at a tertiary health care facility.
