This review aims at RCT's of psychedelics used in the treatment of depression and PTSD. Psilocybin has shown an antidepressant effect in cancer patients that was sustained at 6- and 12-months follow-up. The effect of psilocybin was comparable to escitalopram in one study.

This case report describes a 16-year-old patient, who presented with multiple personalities. A diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder (DID) was considered, but rejected, based on the patient's presenting psychopathology and a lack of confidence in the current scientific literature describing the diagnosis. DID is a rare diagnosis in Danish clinical practice and there is much dissent concerning its validity.

Trichotillomania (TTM) is associated with great psychosocial impairment and reduced quality of life and the lifetime prevalence is 1-3 %. The purpose of this review is to give an up-to-date overview of TTM. It describes the genesis and epidemiology of trichotillomania (TTM), including prevalence in terms of age and gender.

A Review Electroconvulsive Therapy in Cochlear Implant Patients.

The use of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in cochlear implant (CI) users is debatable. Currently, no consensus statement exists about the safety for the patients and the implants. Here, we present a summary of the existing literature on ECT in CI users, consisting of 4 case reports and a cadaveric study.
