The low attendance rate for cancer screening tests in Poland is a major healthcare concern that requires specific analysis and the development of implementation recommendations for prevention, and both actions are likely to benefit culturally similar countries. Four female cancers account for approximately 20% of all cancer cases-breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer-suggesting that gynecologists have a significant preventative role. Of the four, breast cancer and cervical cancer are among the 10 most common malignant neoplasms globally, regardless of gender, occur only in women and are known to have effective screening measures.

Unlabelled: Advance directives can help guide care in the ICU. As a healthcare quality improvement initiative, we sought to increase the percentage of patients with a healthcare power of attorney and/or practitioner orders for life-sustaining treatment in our ICU and to increase medical resident experience with advance directives through routine screening and documentation of advance directives in the ICU.
Design: Prospective analysis.

Background: Current therapeutic techniques for pancreatic pseudocyst include surgical management with a laparoscopic approach or an open surgical procedure, percutaneous catheter drainage and endoscopic drainage. Yet it remains controversial whether different treatment approaches affect inpatient outcome.
Aim: To investigate inpatient outcome of different treatment approaches in treating pancreatic pseudocyst.
