Introduction: Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a metabolic disorder marked by Q10 hyperglycemia that can negatively affect both mothers and newborns. The increasing prevalence of GDM and the limitations associated with the standard diagnostic test highlight the urgent need for early screening strategies that promote timely interventions.

Methods: This study aims to investigate the metabolic profile associated with GDM through an untargeted metabolomic analysis using mass spectrometry (MS)- based omics.

High-intensity versus low-level laser therapy in treatment of patients with subacromial impingement syndrome: a randomized, double-blind, controlled trial.

To compare the effects of High-Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT) versus Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) on shoulder pain and disability, shoulder Range of Motion (ROM), Pain Pressure Threshold (PPT), and sleep quality of patients having Subacromial Impingement Syndrome (SAIS). Forty-two patients with SAIS were randomly assigned into three groups, the HILT group (n = 14), the LLLT group (n = 14), and control group (n = 14). All groups received an exercise program consisted of shoulder muscles stretching and strengthening exercises.

Validation of the Arabic Version of the Multiple Sclerosis Impact Scale (MSIS-29): a Rasch Analysis Study.

Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord. This cross-sectional study aimed to validate the Arabic version of the Multiple Sclerosis Impact Scale-29 (MSIS-29) using Rasch analysis to assess quality of life in Jordanian MS patients.

Method: Rasch analysis was conducted to evaluate the suitability of the model for the present study.

It has been advised that comprehensive sexual reproductive health (SRH) education should be provided in educational systems, colleges, and communities. We aimed to explore the knowledge about the reproductive system among first-year students in non-medical health schools.

We aimed in this study to assess the potential environmental and personal barriers encountered in the community pharmacies in Jordan. A validated self-administered survey was distributed online to 721 participants from all regions in Jordan. All approached participants (721 subjects) answered the survey.

This study investigates the effects of (cactus) juice and empagliflozin, both alone and in combination, on glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in healthy and streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Eighty Wistar albino male rats were divided into eight groups, with four groups being diabetic.

A diabetic wound exemplifies the challenge of chronic, nonhealing wounds. Elevated blood sugar levels in diabetes profoundly disrupt macrophage function, impairing crucial activities such as phagocytosis, immune response, cell migration, and blood vessel formation, all essential for effective wound healing. Moreover, the persistent presence of pro-inflammatory cytokines and reactive oxygen species, coupled with a decrease in anti-inflammatory factors, exacerbates the delay in wound healing associated with diabetes.

Parenting a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: Jordanian's perspectives.
