Introduction: The current paper aimed to translate psychometric properties and network structure of the Screen for Child Anxiety-Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED-P) in children aged 4 to 7 years in Arabic-speaking countries.

Method: In this study, 646 Arabic-speaking parents of children aged 4 to 7 participated. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to confirm the five-factor structure of the SCARED-P scale.

Occipital bone modeling patterns during the first years of life: A preliminary histological and quantitative approach.

Studies of modeling processes have provided important insights in human evolutionary discipline. Most of these studies are based on facial bones and in much lesser extent on other bones such as those from the cranial vault. Thus, this study fills a gap in research by examining occipital bone modeling in subadults, adding individuals under 2 years old and expanding the sample size available to date.

Anchored in equity theory, we address this gap by examining how promotion and compensation inequalities relate to employee task performance. Further, this study examines the myth of meritocracy as an underlying mechanism and overall perceived distributive justice as a boundary condition.

Basin-Size Mapping: Prediction of Metastable Polymorph Synthesizability Across TaC-TaN Alloys.

The sizes of the basins of attraction on the potential energy surface are helpful indicators in determining the experimental synthesizability of metastable phases. In principle, these basins can be controlled with changes in thermodynamic conditions such as composition, pressure, and surface energy. Herein, we use random structure sampling to computationally study how alloying smoothly perturbs basin of attraction sizes.

Zirconium hafnium: a comparative study of mesoporous MOF stability.

A wide range of mesoporous Zr and Hf metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), namely MIP-206, MOF-808, and NU-1000, as well as the microporous UiO-66, were systematically investigated and compared in terms of thermal and chemical stability. The holistic effects of metal type (Zr Hf), linker type (small and rigid large and flexible), and framework topology (2D 3D) on the overall framework stability were investigated.

Background: The combination of cardiovascular disease and diabetes is a highly prevalent condition in the United Arab Emirates. Development and dissemination of evidence-based regional recommendations for optimal screening, treatment and referrals of people with diabetes and high cardiovascular risk is an important priority.

Consensus Panel: An expert panel of diabetologists, endocrinologists and cardiologists from the Emirates Cardiac Society and Emirates Diabetes and Endocrine Society as well as different entities in the UAE, discussed and reviewed evidence and also a consensus report from the American Diabetes Association to formulate contextualized recommendations that could be applied for optimal management of cardiovascular risk in people with diabetes in the UAE.

In recent years, soil-transmitted helminthiases, including strongyloidiasis have become a prominent public health concern in the southeastern United States of America (USA). While there is ongoing human soil-transmitted helminths (STH) surveillance in Mississippi and Alabama, very little attention has been paid to potentially zoonotic STH from dogs in this region. Exploring the antifungal potential of -derived stilbenoids and cannabinoids against novel targets through protein interaction profiling.

Cannabinoid and stilbenoid compounds derived from were screened against eight specific fungal protein targets to identify potential antifungal agents. The proteins investigated included Glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI), Enolase, Mannitol-2-dehydrogenase, GMP synthase, Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH), Heat shock protein 90 homolog (Hsp90), Chitin Synthase 2 (CaChs2), and Mannitol-1-phosphate 5-dehydrogenase (M1P5DH), all of which play crucial roles in fungal survival and pathogenicity. This research evaluates the binding affinities and interaction profiles of selected cannabinoids and stilbenoids with these eight proteins using molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations.
