Impaired vascular growth resulting from reduced vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the epithelial tissue of the glands is a primary cause of thin endometrium. Inducing angiogenesis offers a possible therapeutic strategy for this condition. This study aimed to develop a novel drug delivery system using S75 lipoid loaded with VEGF for thin endometrium therapy.

Background: During epidemics, the number of individuals whose mental health is affected is greater than those affected by the infection itself. This is because psychological factors have a direct relationship with the primary causes of the disease and mortality worldwide. Therefore, an increasing investment in research and strategic actions for mental health is essential globally, given the prevalence of infectious diseases.

Objectives: Previous reports have indicated that the methylation profile in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in different genes and loci is altered in colorectal cancer (CRC). Regarding the high mortality rate and silent nature of CRC, screening and early detection can meaningfully reduce disease-related deaths. Therefore, for the first time, we aimed to evaluate the early non-invasive diagnosis of CRC via quantitative promoter methylation analysis of RUNX3 and RASSF1A genes in PBMCs.

Introduction: Infectious diarrhea, a significant global health challenge, is exacerbated by flooding, a consequence of climate change and environmental disruption. This comprehensive study aims to quantify the association between flooding events and the incidence of infectious diarrhea, considering diverse demographic, environmental, and pathogen-specific factors.
Methods: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, adhering to PROSPERO protocol (CRD42024498899), we evaluated observational studies from January 2000 to December 2023.

Background And Aims: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common arrhythmia that occurs following ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and can significantly impact clinical outcomes. We investigated the incidence and predictors of AF following STEMI in patients, as well as its association with major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study, including all STEMI patients who presented under code 247 to Tehran Heart Center between 2016 and 2020 and completed a 1-year follow-up.

Objective: Disasters in developing countries result in higher human and financial losses compared to global standards, with the death rate being 12 times higher than that of developed countries. Many experts attribute the failures in disaster management to the lack of a system for documenting and analyzing disaster management functions and not leveraging the experiences and lessons learned. This study employed a qualitative data collection approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with managers, deputies, members of operational teams, and individuals affected by the disaster in the area.

Introduction: A new analytical method based on the coupling of microextraction and microfluidics was developed and investigated for the pre-concentration, separation, and electrochemical detection of fenitrothion (FT) and parathion (PA) at the sub-ppm concentrations.
Methods: In the first step, the microchip capillary electrophoresis technique was used to serve as a separation and detection system. Analytes were injected in the 40 mm long microchannel with 10 mm sidearms.
Instrument fracture in the root canal system is an unpleasant incident that may occur during root canal treatment. Comprehensive cleaning of the root canal system is often impossible in the presence of a broken instrument. Therefore, it is often imperative to remove the broken fragment from the root canal system.

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common type of cancer among children, presenting significant healthcare challenges for some patients, including drug resistance and the need for targeted therapies. SiRNA-based therapy is one potential solution, but problems can arise in administration and the need for a delivery system to protect siRNA during intravenous injection. Additionally, siRNA encounters instability and degradation in the reticuloendothelial system, off-target effects, and potential immune system stimulation.
