- A new method using liquid chromatography with high-resolution quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-QTOF-MS) was created to detect fentanyl and 26 of its analogs in both liquid and solid drug forms.
- The process includes extracting samples with acetonitrile solutions and cleaning them up using a solid-phase extraction method, followed by detection through electrospray ionization and advanced mass spectrometry techniques.
- The method proved to be effective and reliable, with linear calibration curves for quantification, good recovery rates from various samples, and a low limit of quantification for all target compounds.
