Aim: Dental pulp stem cells, which are primarily derived from the pulp tissues of human teeth, have rarely been obtained from natal teeth. This study investigated the stem cell and differentiation markers of the dental pulp of natal teeth using immunohistochemistry.
Materials & Methods: The pulp tissue from extracted natal teeth (n = 2) of a 20-day-old healthy male was examined for immunohistochemical expression of stem cell (Oct-4 and SOX 2) and differentiation markers (Nestin, CD 44, desmin, osteopontin and Ki- 67).

Oxidative stress occurs when this equilibrium shifts in favor of ROS.

Background And Objectives: This study was done with the objectives to determine the range of functional zone between the intercuspal positions and edge to edge position, the range of incomplete and complete disclusion of posterior teeth in canine-guided occlusion, and to have a gender comparison and comparison between right and left sides of the obtained values.
Materials And Methods: Thirty-five subjects showing canine-guided occlusion and Angle's class I canine and molar relation were chosen for the study. Maxillary midline and a corresponding line on the mandible were marked in maximum intercuspation with marker pen in the patient's mouth.

Rieger's syndrome is a rare autosomal-dominant disorder characterized by dental, ocular, and periumbilical abnormalities. Dentigerous cysts arising from overlying infected predecessor teeth are very rare. This report describes one such case where extraction of the infected deciduous tooth with marsupialization led to the eruption of the premolar. Periodic radiographic evaluation is required to note and prevent recurrence and other serious complications arising from these cysts.
