Comparison of the outcomes of hemorrhoidectomy and PPH in the treatment of grades III and IV hemorrhoids.

To investigate the clinical effect and outcome of traditional hemorrhoidectomy and procedures for prolapse and hemorrhoid (PPH) for the treatment of grades III and IV hemorrhoids.We retrospectively reviewed 1003 grades III and IV hemorrhoid patients who presented to our hospital. A total of 585 patients underwent PPH, and 418 patients underwent hemorrhoidectomy.

CircRNA coiled-coil domain containing 66 (circ-CCDC66) has been reported to be involved in several cancers, but its biological function and underlying mechanism in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) remain unclear. We detected the relative expression level of circ-CCDC66 in PTC specimens and cell lines using real-time reverse transcription PCR.

The Potential Value of 320-Row Computed Tomography Angiography in Digital Subtraction Angiography-Negative Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Patients.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the clinical value of multiphase and multiparametric 320-row computed tomography (CT) in the long-term follow-up of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) with initially negative CT angiography (CTA) and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) results.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 35 patients with nontraumatic angiographically negative SAH results from February 2012 to December 2015. Regular follow-up was performed with 320-row CTA, CT venography, and CT perfusion.
