Physicians, nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals including physiotherapists and occupational therapists play important roles as they work closely with stroke survivors to improve functional independence in daily activities and quality of life. Yet, in Singapore little is known about their perspectives on what constitute quality stroke care based on their clinical experiences. In this project, our qualitative interviews with 15 healthcare workers at a major stroke center in the country yielded a Continuity of Care Advocate Model (CCAM) to help us better understand our participants' experience-based perspectives on quality stroke care.

Objectives: The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is an increasingly used screening tool for cognitive impairment. The aim of this study was to examine how MoCA performed in identifying cognitive impairment (CI) domains in SLE patients compared with formal standardized neuropsychological testing (NPT). Factors related to SLE disease, immunologic and psychological state associated with CI were also explored.

Studies evaluating the benefits of palliative care examined mainly idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients. We aim to examine the impact of palliative care on a broader group of fibrotic ILD patients.

Purpose: Anti vascular endothelial growth factor (anti VEGF) has been the mainstay of treatment in wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Subsequent decision to continue anti VEGF therapy depends on the treatment response quantified by functional (visual acuity) and morphological (optical coherence tomography) parameters then categorized from good to poor.
Methods: This study evaluates the agreement between OCT angiography (OCTA) and non-OCTA (logMAR VA plus OCT) to decide anti-VEGF treatment's continuity.

Ilio-femoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is rare in patients with lower limb arterio-venous grafts due to a state of high blood flow. May-Thurner syndrome (MTS) is an anomaly where the left common iliac vein is compressed by the right common iliac artery. We present a rare case of ilio-femoral deep vein thrombosis in a patient with May-Thurner Syndrome and an underlying arteriovenous graft in-situ who presented with acute lower limb swelling.

Objective: To study the clinical features, treatment and outcomes of primary Sjögren's Syndrome (pSS) in a Singapore cohort from an outpatient rheumatology clinic.
Methods: Computerised Physician Order entry records of patients who fulfilled the 2016 ACR-EULAR classification criteria for pSS between 1993 and 2013 were retrospectively analysed.
Results: There were 102 patients, of which 96 (94.
Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Objective: We intend to evaluate the accuracy and safety of cervical pedicle screw (CPS) insertion under O-arm-based 3-dimensional (3D) navigation guidance.
Methods: This is a retrospective study of patients who underwent CPS insertion under intraoperative O-arm-based 3D navigation during the years 2009 to 2018.
Study Design: A cross-sectional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based anatomical study.
Objectives: Instrumentation of the thoracic spine may be challenging due to the unique pedicle morphology and the proximity of vital structures. As prior morphological studies have mostly been done in Caucasians, our study aims to determine the optimal pedicle screw size for transpedicular fixation in an Asian population.

Background: Beta-trace protein (BTP) is a novel marker for residual kidney function (RKF) without need for urinary collection. We aimed to examine its utility as a tool for estimating RKF in incident peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients.
Methods: This was a post hoc analysis of incident PD patients from the balANZ trial cohort.

Objective: Sleep-wake disturbances, such as excessive daytime somnolence (EDS), are nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) and significantly affect the quality of life. This study aimed to examine the relationship between EDS and motor and nonmotor symptoms of PD.
Methods: Eighty-two patients with idiopathic mild PD were followed up twice a year for 2 years and assessed on sleep, mood, anxiety, cognition, function, and disease severity.
