Background/aims: To assess the technical feasibility and outcomes of femtosecond laser-assisted Bowman layer transplantation (FLABOLT) in stabilizing progressive, advanced keratoconus, which is ineligible for corneal crosslinking.
Methods: This single-center retrospective study included 50 eyes of 49 patients with progressive advanced keratoconus, ineligible for corneal crosslinking, that underwent FLABOLT with both the donor graft and recipient mid-stromal pocket using a femtosecond laser.
