4-1BB expression on MAIT cells is associated with enhanced IFN-γ production and depends on IL-2.

The role of MAIT cells in immunity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection in humans is still largely unexplored. In this study, we investigated the functional role of 4-1BB on MAIT cells. We found that 4-1BB was highly up-regulated on MAIT cells from tuberculous pleural effusions following Mtb antigen stimulation and its level of expression correlated with IFN-γ and IL-17 production.

Linezolid Induced Twice Pure Red Cell Aplasia in a Patient with Central Nervous System Infection after Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation.

Linezolid (LZD), severed as the first oxazolidinone antibiotic, was active against multidrug-resistant gram-positive strains. LZD can induce thrombocytopenia, anemia and leukocytopenia. Currently, reports on pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) cases induced by LZD are relatively rare (4-7).

[Advances in the technology in modern rehabilitation of patients after burns].

With the rapid development of modern science and technology, various kinds of new therapy and technology have widely been used in rehabilitation medicine. This review summarizes those new therapies and principles in rehabilitation and their application during treatment of burn injury, in order to provide more ways and methods to improve the rehabilitation of mentation, motor function, and the quality of life of burn patients.

[Apoptosis of neutrophil in peripheral blood in experimental sepsis].

Objective: To evaluate the changes in apoptosis of neutrophil in peripheral blood in sepsis in rats.

Methods: The rat sepsis model was reproduced by cecum ligation and puncture (CLP). One hundred and forty-four rats were randomly divided into normal control group, sham operation group and 2, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours after CLP groups.
