Purpose: Combination immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) with chemotherapeutic agents has proven to be highly promising in cancer therapy. However, low response rate, immune-related adverse events, and lack of effectively targeted co-delivery strategy are still major hurdles to overcome for this combination therapeutic regimen.
