It is essential for the development of highly efficient polymeric photocatalysts for hydrogen peroxide (HO) production. Nevertheless, the non-uniform molecular structures and sluggish reaction pathway of polymeric photocatalysts lead to low conversion efficiency. In this work, we report sulfur-contained phenolic resins with regulated conjugation for photocatalytic HO production.

In advancing cardiac tissue engineering (CTE), the development of injectable hydrogels mirroring myocardial properties is pivotal. The designed hydrogels must not only support cardiac cell growth but also have to be conductive to properly promote the functionalities of cardiac cells. Here, a facile approach is developed to incorporate gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) into an injectable hydrogel composed of Alginate (Alg) and Gelatin (Gel).

There is currently strong interest in improving visual object tracking by augmenting the RGB modality with the output of a visual event camera that is particularly informative about the scene motion. However, existing approaches perform event feature extraction for RGB-E tracking using traditional appearance models, which have been optimised for RGB only tracking, without adapting it for the intrinsic characteristics of the event data. To address this problem, we propose an Event backbone (Pooler), designed to obtain a high-quality feature representation that is cognisant of the innate characteristics of the event data, namely its sparsity.

Previous research demonstrates an association between spatial ability and science achievement in primary-school-aged children. However, little is known about the mechanisms driving this relationship. We investigated the associations between children's spatial skills and components of physics learning (factual knowledge vs.

Background: Energy Storage and Return (ESAR) prosthetic feet provide improved walking when compared with previous designs. However, it may not mimic the unimpaired smooth and progressive movement of the foot on the floor (foot rollover).
Objective: To characterize the temporal foot rollover of participants with unilateral transtibial amputation using an ESAR prosthetic foot.

Unlabelled: Green-blue urban infrastructures potentially offer win-win benefits for people and nature in urban areas. Given increasing evidence of widespread declines of insects, as well as their ecological importance, there is a need to better understand the potential role of green-blue urban infrastructure for insect conservation. In this review, we evaluated 201 studies about the ability of green-blue infrastructure to support insect diversity.

The competency-based veterinary education (CBVE) framework describes essential domains of competence and related abilities for veterinary graduates. Translating these outcomes into daily teaching is a challenge, particularly regarding the underpinning basic and clinical science knowledge. In this article, we identified a lack of specific reference to the selection and use of drugs within the CBVE framework; this requires pharmacological knowledge and pharmacology-specific competencies.

Objective: Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) is a dementia intervention shown to improve cognition and quality of life (QoL). Previous research on individual CST delivered by family carers showed no significant improvements in people with dementia. We aimed to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of Virtual Individual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (V-iCST) delivered by healthcare personnel.

Constructing built-in electric field (BIEF) in heterojunction catalyst is an effective way to optimize adsorption/desorption of reaction intermediates, while its precise tailor to achieve efficient bifunctional electrocatalysis remains great challenge. Herein, the hollow Mo/MoS nanoreactors with tunable BIEFs are elaborately prepared to simultaneously promote hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and urea oxidation reaction (UOR) for sustainable hydrogen production. The BIEF induced by sulfur vacancies can be modulated from 0.

Intensive care unit (ICU) nurses were at the forefront of patient care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To date, no studies have explored what it meant to be a 'good nurse' in this unique and challenging context. As such, the aim of this study was to construct the meaning of the 'good nurse' in ICUs during a pandemic.

Background: Eating disorders (EDs) have traditionally been studied among heterosexual cisgender women, but recent research highlights a higher prevalence in LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Aims: This study aims (1) to investigate the association between different groups based on gender identity and sexual orientation (GISO) and experiencing eating symptoms, and (2) to explore the extent to which self-perceived discrimination and adverse conditions explain this association.
Methods: We administered an online survey to assess eating symptoms using the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q 6.

University students are typically highly sedentary, which is associated with adverse physical and mental health outcomes. Attempts to understand university students' sedentary behaviour have typically focused on on-campus teaching and learning activities. While such research has documented that students perceive studying as one of the main barriers to reducing sedentary behaviour, there is little understanding of how and why studying incurs sitting, especially during home-based studying.

Background: Health applications have grown exponentially in the last decade and are well accepted by users and health services. It is essential that digital tools meet the needs of the target users and are reliable, hence the importance of evaluating them. The aim of this study was to adapt The App Behavior Change Scale (ABACUS) into the Spanish language and to assess their metric properties.

Background: Patients receiving chemotherapy require ongoing symptom monitoring and management to optimize their outcomes. In recent years, digital remote monitoring interventions have emerged to provide enhanced cancer care delivery experiences to patients and clinicians. However, patient and clinician experiential evaluations of these technologies are rare.

Self-reported height and weight is widely used to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) and yet little is known about factors that affect accuracy. This study investigated the motivational characteristics-narcissism and social desirability-that influence the accuracy of self-reported weight and how they interact with accountability (telling participants that their weight will be verified). A two-way between-subjects design was used (accountable vs not accountable) with motivational moderators (narcissism and social desirability).

Past investigations into the connection between space and numbers have revealed its potential vulnerability to external influences such as cultural factors, including language. This study aims to examine whether language moderates the association between space and number in the spatial-numerical association of response codes (SNARC) effect, which is demonstrated in an interaction between number magnitude and response side. The SNARC effect has been observed across various stimuli.

Experimental inversion of circadian and behavioral rhythms by 12 h adversely affects markers of metabolic health. We investigated the effects of a more modest 5-h delay in behavioral cycles. Fourteen participants completed an 8-day in-patient laboratory protocol, with controlled sleep-wake opportunities, light-dark cycles, and diet.

Despite the multifaceted and diverse challenges that refugees, migrants, and asylum-seekers experience when entering a new country, they remain notably underrepresented in the evaluation and understanding of the health and wellbeing impacts of outdoor health interventions. We addressed this knowledge gap by a mixed-methods evaluation (questionnaires, focus groups and photo elicitation activity) facilitated by a community researcher. Qualitative data (focus groups and photo elicitation activity) revealed that the participants saw the social component of outdoor activities as a critical factor in improving their wellbeing, an insight not captured by established quantitative wellbeing scales.
