The aim of our work is to study the individual anatomical variability of the facial section of the skull, taking into account gender and craniotype, based on computed tomography data.

Material And Methods: The material for our study consisted of 80 results from computed tomography (CT) scans of the human head, without any existing pathologies of the bone tissue.

Endothelial dysfunction is important in the development of thrombosis, neoangiogenesis and vascular remodeling, being the key to the development of obstetric and perinatal disorders. The aim of the study was to reveal morphological signs of endotheliopathy in spiral arteries in preeclampsia, which is important for understanding the development of pregnancy complications.

PECULIARITIES OF CYTOKINE RESPONSE IN CHILDREN WITH SHIGELLOSIS AND CONCOMITANT CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTION.

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the level of interleukins of children with Shigellosis in different periods of the disease depending on the presents of CMV-infection in patients. To achieve the goal, 63 children aged from three to eight years old with Shigellosis were examined, who were treated at the Regional Children's Infectious Clinical Hospital of Kharkiv, Ukraine. It has been established that the presence of CMV in patients with Shigellosis leads to the development of cytokine imbalance which persists until the period of early convalescence.
