Atopic dermatitis, despite its relatively wide distribution and low severity, was statistically often a disqualification condition for military service. The aim of our study is to determine correlations between characteristics of atopic dermatitis in military personnel. 144 people with atopic dermatitis were under our observation, 78 of them military personnel, 26 military family members and 40 civilians, 62 men and 82 women.

The aim of the work was a comparative analysis of scientific sources, covering current surgical approaches in the treatment of thymus tumors, as well as the analysis of the results of own experience in minimally invasive surgery for thymus neoplasm. Thymic hyperplasia include tumor-like disorders, cysts and thymic tumors, the latter compose for 60-90% of all thymic lesions. Over the past ten years, due to the development of technologies, a new trends of surgical treatment of thymic tumors has been proposed - minimally invasive techniques, which all over the world changes the historical dogmas concerning thymus surgery, since associated with shorter hospital stays, less intraoperative bleeding, the best aesthetic outcomes.

They participate in the modification of transport membrane proteins (Na+/K+-ATPase, Ca+2-ATPase, Na+/K+/2Cl-cotransporter, Na+/H+-antiporter, CAT-1, Ca2+-dependent K+ channels (Gard channels), the activity of adenylate cyclase and cAMP, AMP-dependent activation of the L-arginine/NOS system and erythrocyte NOS) and by this way modulate the cells volume, rheological properties (deformability, aggregability), intensity of NO synthesis and ATP reliase.

In this research, in order to establish the role of neuroendocrine mechanisms in the processes of immunomodulation, the effect of propranolol on the cytokine profile in an experimental model of human T lymphocytes (Jurkat cells) in vitro was investigated. Jurkat cells were incubated under standard conditions. Stimulation of the Jurkat cells was performed by incubation with Phytohemagglutinin (PHA) (50 μg/ml) in the presence of propanonol (10-4 M) and without it at 370 for 24 hours.
