Background: Critical illness in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) is increasing in occurrence, and by virtue of its adverse effect on prognosis, its presence may influence the decision to offer admission to intensive care units (ICU). Our objective was to examine the determinants and outcome of patients with CLD admitted to ICU.
Methods: A retrospective cohort of patients admitted to four adult ICUs in Queensland, Australia from 2017 to 2019.

The purpose of this study is to establish the diagnostic sensitivity of Endothelin-1 for risk stratification and screening of clinical vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage.This is a multicentre, observational study, correlating daily blood Endothelin-1 with clinical variables. Binary logistic regression used to examine if Endothelin-1 levels could be used to predict clinical vasospasm.

This research is based on a 2020 nationwide survey about the impacts of COVID-19 on domestic and family violence (DFV) services and allied sectors throughout Australia. This study focuses on how perpetrator behaviors-coercion, control, and violence-changed and intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic.
