Unlabelled: OBJECTIVE To study the effects of intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) on respiratory system, circulatory system and renal function in rats. To investigate the difference between the direct measure and indirect measure methods (via inferior vena cava and bladder) for IAP.

Methods: Sixty Sprague-Drawly (SD) rats were randomly divided into 5 groups with different IAP (IAP value of 1-5 groups was 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 mm Hg,respectively) and healthy control group, 10 rats in each group.

Malignant angiomyolipoma in the liver: a case report with pathological and molecular analysis.

Malignant angiomyolipoma (AML) of the liver is rare. We report a case of AML with malignant transformation and metastases. A 30-year-old man had developed giant hepatic masses.

[Therapeutic effect of amniotic membrane transplantation for ocular burn].

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of amniotic membrane transplantation(AMT) for ocular burn.

Methods: Twenty patients with ocular burn(28 eyes) were treated with amniotic membrane transplantation. Of them, there were 6 cases of severe alkali burn(10 eyes), 8 cases of severe acid burn(10 eyes), and 6 cases of thermal burn(8 eyes).
