C-Reactive Protein and Specific Depression Symptoms Among Older Adults: An Exploratory Investigation of Multi-Plane Networks Using Cross-Sectional Data From NHANES (2017-2020).

Introduction: Studies investigating the association between C-reactive protein (CRP) and depression among older adults have yielded inconsistent results. We suspect that this may be due to varying associations between CRP and particular depression symptom criteria, and we addressed this challenge using network analysis.

Methods: We used cross-sectional data from prepandemic National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey questionnaires (2017-2020) and included a sample of 1698 adults aged 65 years or older.

Age of Immigration and Depressive Symptoms Among Young Adult Latinx Immigrants: A Test of Explanatory Models.

Latinx immigrants who migrate to the United States (US) as young children are more likely to experience depression than those who migrate later in life. Our purpose is to test three models that may explain the relationship between age of immigration and depressive symptoms among Latinx immigrants. A secondary analysis of baseline data from a community-based, longitudinal study of Latinx young adults in the US Southeast was conducted.

Yoga in the Pediatric Oncology Population: A Review of the Literature.

The purpose of this review was to evaluate the current body of literature on yoga in the pediatric oncology population. Considering the increasing number of studies on yoga indicating improvements in health-related quality of life (HRQL) among the adult oncology population, it is important to explore whether similar benefits have been found in pediatric oncology patients. CINAHL, Ovid MEDLINE, PsycINFO, PubMed, and Scopus were searched from the years 2010 through 2020 for studies assessing the use of yoga in children and adolescents affected by cancer.
