We aimed to assess dynamic changes in hemodynamic and autonomic function in response to the head-up tilt test (HUTT) in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) compared to healthy controls (HCs) and evaluate its relationship with the patients' reported daytime sleepiness and fatigue symptoms. A total of 58 MS patients and 30 HCs were included in the analysis. Fatigue and sleepiness were evaluated using the Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFQ) and the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), respectively.

Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common autoimmune diseases worldwide, and various autoimmune comorbidities have been reported with MS. The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence of autoimmune disease comorbidity in patients with MS and their relatives in a Polish population.
Material And Methods: In this retrospective multicentre study, we investigated a group of patients with MS, and their relatives, in terms of age, gender, and the presence of simultaneous autoimmune diseases such as Graves's Disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, type 1 diabetes mellitus, myasthenia gravis, psoriasis, ulcerative enteritis, Crohn's Disease, coeliac disease, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune hepatitis and systemic lupus erythematous.

The aim of this study was to compare the pre- and postoperative function of patients qualifying for resection of malignant and nonmalignant primary brain tumors to determine the relationship among tumor type, function, and the course of rehabilitation after surgery. This single-center, prospective, observational study recruited 92 patients requiring prolonged postoperative rehabilitation during their inpatient stay, who were divided into a nonmalignant tumor group ( = 66) and a malignant tumor group ( = 26). Functional status and gait efficiency were assessed using a battery of instruments.
