Photodynamic therapy for peripheral lung cancer.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an internationally approved ablation technique for endo-bronchial lung cancer. The majority of reported outcomes are for central and obstructing lesions where excellent long term control is possible. With the current trend of screening high risk for lung cancer populations, a larger cohort of patients are now diagnosed with earlier stage disease.
