Guided by the principles of self-determination theory, the purpose of this study was to identify latent profiles representing high school students' motivational regulations for physical education (PE) and to model putative predictors and outcomes of profile membership. A sample of 532 Australian high school students, age 12-16 years (M = 13.83, SD = 1.

Research grounded in self-determination theory has demonstrated the important role of teachers in shaping students' physical education experiences. Utilizing a cluster-randomized controlled design, this study aimed to examine whether an interpersonally involving training program based on self-determination theory principles could enhance students' in-class experiences. With 18 teachers (males = 8, females = 10, M = 32.

Dendritic cells (DCs) that differentiate in vitro from the bone marrow (BM) of mice with prostaglandin E2 (PGE2)-associated inflammation of the skin, airways, or peritoneal cavity poorly initiate immune responses. To remove in vitro differentiation and allow BM-derived DCs to seed the periphery under steady-state conditions, as well as study the molecule proposed responsible, chimeric mice were engrafted for >16 wk with BM cells from mice exposed to PGE2. Serial PGE2-chimeric mice were established with BM cells from the primary chimeric mice.
